Outside of the latest decks that you've purchased, what decks do you usually use at your game of [insert card game] or when you're are performing your tricks... Etc....?

Not much of a cardist yet, but my favorite deck to faro fan is the White Deco. My favorite playing deck is Calaveras. Rider backs are my learning decks.

I know about a dozen different games of solitaire and play them with any patience sized decks I happen to have on hand. Right now that's a vintage Play Time deck, but I've also used Sponge Bob Square Pants, and airline decks. It's just easier to lay out big games quickly with the smaller cards.
When I visit family and play crib with my shark mother, or 2 x 6 with a group, it's casino decks, or whatever else is at hand. Usually something cheap that handles decent.
Like Eoghann I used Rider backs when I was learning to do a simple fan, and a charlier cut (they show up brand new at the local thrift store for 50 cents).

I'm not really a cardist or magician - but my friends and I have a semi regular game of poker. We've worn out about a dozen casino roayle decks by Cartamundi - we're big bond fans lol.
Right now I've converted them to standard bikes for playing with.
