These look pretty cool, especially the tuck box. I hope there will be some other way to get these other than winning them.

Quite curious to see the details of that one. Particularly their plans on how to release it...

I have a funny feeling those will only be available after spending a certain amount of money on decks... otherwise it'd be easily at least $100/deck... *sigh* My poor poor wallet... ha ha ha :)

"Only 144 special edition of this decks will be up for grabs - The best part is that a lot of elements of this special version will be HAND-MADE and each will be crafted individually by our team and signed by me. I'm really excited about this because its something that hasn't been done before and we've worked SO hard to get all the pieces together! More to come soon"

"Only 144 special edition of this decks will be up for grabs"
Not
"Only 144 exist"

Also, special edition simply replies that there will be normal edition coming out.
I believe these 144 decks will be like "if you buy $$$ then you will get one of these, black friday only"
And I think the reasonable amount is around 50$-100$
If it's 50$, they will probably get 144 orders on that day.
But if 100$ I wonder if 144 people would pay for that in just one day.

V7 is coming, and a lot more is coming too.
We all have to think before we buy anything.

These were meant only for staff at BC and they weren't planning to release these but.....what the hell, they'll make 144 (out of 500? 5000?) available to the public in exchange for our first born children. Oh, and their server will probably crash repeatedly so it'll take 144 hours to check out.

This sounds like a regular deck (which they'll release later) that's going to be bedazzled by hand.

Only 144 of these special Luxury decks with the handmade elements will ever exist. More details will be available when our Black Friday event begins.

I think handmade part is the Alex's signature part on the box.
They can't handmade the paper stock or cutting the decks by hand for sure.

Is it just me, or an optical illusion but it looks like the box in their video is printed completely crooked. Just compare the corners....strange....

It's only the finest handmade magician craftsmanship

Seriously though, I see it too. Disturbing.

Hey everyone,

I'm surprised nobody's posted either of the photos from the BC Facebook page. Some of the standard version will be released at 8:00 pm EST on the 26th (I have no idea how many). My family and I will be heading to an internet deadzone in Michigan soon, so I thought I would post a little about it now. And to reveal that I was hired on freelance to design the Blue Crown Luxury Deck!!

Alex was essentially the Creative Director of the project and I'm very proud of the final design! I've attached a photo of the limited, custom version from their Facebook page, and a photo and 3d Render of the standard version. I made sure not to show any specifics that the guys at TBC haven't yet (except for the Red seal sticker on the standard version). Just like with the ORNATE Deck, it's been a pleasure working with Kevin And Alex!

I signed onto Instagram recently and noticed that TBC has been posting some really sweet photos of the limited, custom version on their feed. Leather wrapping case, gilded edges, hand-signed metal plate and skinny blue seal sticker.

Thanks, Randy

Happy Holidays Everyone!!!!

I don't go out into FB-land unless I have to. I think this sort of thing should at least be posted on their website (which it isn't).

Hey Randy, I think you do great work and I supported your Ornate decks and love your custom brick boxes, so I say the following with all due respect: I think a lot of us are done with Blue Crown, that's why they're not being talked up much here. For me, they lost all credibility as a company with the whole Gold Crown epic fail.

Now only some of the standard versions will be released? Why not all 5000 decks (at least)? Are they restricting supply to artificially drive up demand and create the illusion of rarity? I'm sure their souped up arts and crafts "limited" version will be a hit, but I'm done with their shenanigans and will respectfully pass. However, I wish you luck with the sales of the Luxury Blue Crowns.

$10.00/deck and then $10.00 for shipping a single deck??? Are you kidding me? I'd rather dole out the $20 for that mad deck... pass unless price changes...

seriously $10 for shipping? I sell decks from time to time and I can fit 6 decks in a flat rate box for $5.95....charging almost $10 to ship 1 deck is outrageous.

You guys all realize that they have said in the past they have flat rate shipping... While it sucks for people who get 1 or 2 decks its great for people who get 6 and more decks.

Remember when they grossly overpriced the Olympic decks at $12 per deck? They just ended up blowing them out for half price on Black Friday. Given that other companies produce custom decks at the $6-$8 range, what are we getting for the 25% - 66% mark-up in price? A nice custom box? T11 probably makes the nicest custom boxes, and at least their tuck boxes have design, embossing, and foil around the whole box. This Luxury Blue Crown deck looks like the back is completely blank! I think enough has been already said about the unreasonable shipping. I think its almost getting to the point where I'm just going to completely igonre anything that BC does in the future because its not worth my time......

Good point on the Olympic decks... probably best to just wait until the next big sale... oh and a business should be able to evolve. If they are going to charge a flat rate for shipping they are going to lose possible business...

This...they could VERY EASILY offer a flat rate for orders over a certain amount of cards such as what BMpoker does.
