Hundreds of decks sold and only five winners, its a good way to sell decks though you have to give them that.......I wonder what the five winners are going to get, if its anything like the rest of this hunt im sure its nothing exciting "congratulations on giving us money heres a poster". and those clues were really hard i was stuck on the second question forever (I would have givin up if i didnt get help......thanks again btw) I dont know how you can figure that out with the "clues" they give you

CBJ won the 5th place, and he told me that these were the prizes:

1st was a case of cards
2nd was a signed uncut
3rd was A brick of SNowowls
4th was a yet unreleased t-shirt
5th was the leather journal

All those prizes are epically lame (aside from the brick - though it's missing the single card in each deck) and in my honest opinion, not worthy of the time some of the people spent on this ridiculous hunt...

I happen to think the prizes are great. Also, they are free, stop complaining. If you don't like it, don't participate.

At first this was frustrating.. but I'm telling you .. they put a lot of work in this.

The UV writing, the card you have to punch holes in to decipher one of the answers... good job!

I think the only flaw in the campaign was the misprint (which I find strange that it happened on BOTH decks).

And... I'm actually a fan of these decks!

Here's a big shocker! I didn't! :D

Considering I haven't even received my decks yet (still in transit), so I couldn't anyways. There's people that ordered on the first day and still haven't received their decks. I got every right to complain. :P

It's another flawed marketing campaign.

I kept thinking the "printing mistake" would end up being part of the entire journey.

Don't worry. They'll find more in the attic and sell them at an exorbitant price. :|

I'm in the process of finishing. I had fun with it, like puzzles...but pretty bummed there were so few prizes. Either way, I like the deck so its a win.

Darn, I think I got to the last puzzle (the one with the UV ink) last night, but didn't have a UV light I could use (it's been cloudy here, too, so I couldn't use sunlight this morning to help). >.>

Sunlight won't work. You must have UV light, or guess based on the clues :)

I just angled it under a "daylight" bulb and made it out. I'm sure not as a clear as using a UV light, but with none on hand, I made it work

How many decks in a "case of cards"?

Yeah, the uncut sheet is cool, so is the shirt and journal, but I'm happy with my brick of snow owls. I'd only prefer the gross of Altruisms to my prize. I'll buy some off that individual, who may want to remain nameless for now.

Had I won gross, I would have a new standard deck to use. :)

Really? I guess you must have actually RECEIVED your decks are were able to participate, unlike some of us. Not sure why you are sticking up for them, they seem to be handling things insanely poorly on all fronts.

My job is killing me and I cannot be updated about the threads. Can anyone, please, explain me what has happened here? Just about the prices and contest I have lost... :(

There was something called "the hunt" started yesterday.
The Blue Crown posted a link which consists of bunch of questions, one leads to another.
The answers of those questions can be found in the Altruism deck/ Snow owl deck.
At first, nobody knew what the hunt is leading to, only people who completed the hunt would know.

Now we are already know that there were 5 prizes for the first 5 people who accomplished the goal.

That's all.

Finally got mine. Couldn't be more disappointed. Didn't get any Halloween gift they promised, aside from a couple crappy stickers. Contest is over so can't play. Done with this company.

BTW, love how they are blaming the misprint on USPC. Are they trying to say they didn't get proofs? If they did then it's their mistake and we, the customers (or former customers) are paying for it.

That is why we cancelled our order with them for this deck. Every time we deal with them another issue comes up. I had some pretty upset customers after the gold crown fiasco. Oh I forgot, they originally only printed them for personal use and their closest friends....... all 10 million of them.

Thanks!

So I have a fair number of uncut sheets that I have hung up in my basement. They are all framed and mounted in frames with paned glass on both sides (so I can turn them around to change the view from front to back). Naturally, when the altruism uncuts were released, I bought one. Just received it in the mail yesterday and of course, the Queen of Heart/Diamond error is present. Do you all think I should keep it the way it is (error and all), or ask about getting it exchanged for a correct proof?

Since you probably paid significantly more for the uncut sheet, than you do a playing deck, I would ask them to replace it when they print the updated deck. I've already seen hints this is version one deck.

You paid good money for what you bought. You should get what you expected for your money and don't let these other guys that tend to stand up or give leeway to the distributors/producers and tell us "quit complaining". Without us (the customer) they would cease to exist.

I think an uncut with the double queen has a cool history on it so I would keep. If they reprint the deck, they will correct the mistake so, in some way, you have something special (although there are one thousand of them).
