CPC still don't realize that their tuck box renders look like bridge size decks that are 30% thicker than normal

They seem to have the proportions of the old flip-top cigarette packages ...

Re: Physique Playing Cards - KS Now live
Anybody else notice that this hit its funding goal, with a pledge increase of almost $1800, but no increase in backers the day before, day of, or day after the increase? Seems "somebody" wanted this deck to get printed...

Seems like D&D aren't the only ones making sure their decks fund. I like the KS pricing for their decks but thats just shallow enough, i may stop pledging CPC.
Feeding the addiction one deck at a time.

Yeah I did notice the +$1000 bump they did. On the one hand, as a company they can offer funding security to creators. So that's something I guess. Even though that's technically cheating.

Not sure how I feel about the +$1,000 bump... The KS is over the funding goal by +$1,000 so in the end, the bump wouldn't have been needed. It's well known that a project picks up at the last 48 hours, and being that close to the goal, I would think it would have funded, regardless. What I do like about CPC is that you're almost always guaranteed to get your rewards (no worries about being scammed here) and the quick turn around between funding and fulfillment.

Re: Physique Playing Cards - KS Now live
I didn't back this deck, but if I were a backer, I wouldn't care. An extra push to guarantee it being printed is a smart move. I backed the Gorilla deck, and it didn't get funded. I really wanted a brick of those. Wouldn't have bothered me how much they had to add, as long as it the project was a go. Yeah, it seems like CPC worked the system. They just lose the extra pledge minus the Kickstarter percentage. So be it.Maddest Hammer wrote:Anybody else notice that this hit its funding goal, with a pledge increase of almost $1800, but no increase in backers the day before, day of, or day after the increase? But they're going to print them anyway, even if the KS project failed. The backers would just have to buy them on there
