I gotta say that the one-eyed Jacks have to be the wild cards when playing with this deck.

Something I've always wondered, Bradius: Are you a crazy squirrel who hunts decks, or are you a human who hunts crazy squirrel decks? Or are you a crazy hunter who hunts regular squirrel decks?

Re: The Cyclopeans by Stockholm17
The key repeating word is "crazy" and "yes". Well, maybe I am a human that collects playing cards like a crazy squirrel with giant cajones might hunt for nuts.wingedpotato wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 3:08 pm Something I've always wondered, Bradius: Are you a crazy squirrel who hunts decks, or are you a human who hunts crazy squirrel decks? Don’t tell me that you can actually copyright a geometrical shape for your cards?wingedpotato wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 12:59 pm I think Star Wars has a monopoly on that with the Sabacc and Sabacc-shaped playing cards.

I doubt it. Perhaps he meant that they're currently the only ones using that shape?

But that Star Wars Sabbac shape is hexagonal? It’s not diamond though?

Re: The Cyclopeans by Stockholm17
Correct. The Sabbac deck was brought up in reference to a hexagonal shape that had been mentioned earlier in the thread.

The Supreme Court has said that, to be creative, a work must have a “spark” and “modicum” of creativity. There are some things, however, that are not creative, like: titles, names, short phrases, and slogans; familiar symbols or designs; mere variations of typographic ornamentation, lettering, or coloring; and mere listings of ingredients or contents.

To take Timmargh's joke a bit farther:
Wife: [Now barely able to breath due to laughing so much] At least I am not the one who couldn't see that one coming.
Cyclops: Roar!

I love the concept images Lorenzo is posting on the Patreon page. Not sure if they can be shared here. This deck is gonna rock! Definitely buying several of these.

While I liked the Eye of the Ocean Astra Polaris edition, I generally dislike tuckboxes with too much cut-outs. Especially when corners are exposed. It's kinda the tuck box' job to protect the cards so...
Not a fan of too much text on the cards as well...
I still dig the overall art of the deck. Just two nitpicks.

If Im reading/remembering the patreon right the diamond shaped version is patreon and there will be a normal poker shaped version released in the coming months on his store.

It’s unlikely those will make it to the public. The patreons will buy them up.
