Hello guys!

Quick update - USPCC is printing the cards those days, and GW is working on the boxes. We hope to have cards and boxes in August, so GW can assembly everything and deliver in September - So far everything is going as scheduled - fingers crossed!

I also have recieved the coins in Italy - as always they are awesome (check update to see more >> https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/th ... ts/2246898" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Until friday 10 August, there is the 10% off on my website http://www.thirdwayindustries.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; > code august18

I also have launched a new service, The Order Tailor - it allows you to ask me custom bundles through email (I was doing this from 2014, probably also for some UC members - the page is just to make everyone aware I can do that) - I hope it's a good and useful idea. Here is the page >> https://www.thirdwayindustries.com/2018 ... er-tailor/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Since I have sent away a teaser for my new upcoming project, Betrayers, I thought it might be also nice post an update on Odissea too.
I am silent because... there are no news.

BUT

Few minutes ago (no kidding) I got the alert from USPCC that cards are ready!!!
I won't have the pics for some days, probably, but at least the news is good.
During september we should be able to make boxes (it's faster and we already ordered foil and paper - everything is waiting at GW HQ), then in early October (fingers crossed) we should deliver.

Gild the decks wil slow down the process a little. I was hoping to deliver early, in September... but this time I don't think it will be possible.

I will post a detailed update when I'll have more info - anyways, we're doing our best to deliver asap :)

Hello guys, a quick update here too!

Cards are ready, but still in transit (I know, super slow shipping :( ) - Should recieve them at GW the next week. I hope to have pics to share soon.

The great news is that Gamblers Warehose is making tucks and they're SUPER. I am very happy just seeing the pics they sent me:
pic_odissea_k.jpg
Since soon I'll send the backers surveys and I expect many requests to add one or two decks, I've opened a "temporary store" for Odissea Preorders.
Prices are similar to Kickstarter, and this is the last chance to get the "preorder price" > https://www.thirdwayindustries.com/prod ... erby=price" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Delivery is still october. I hoped to delivery this month, but it won't be probably possible.

Hello UC!

I have great news about Odissea. All the shippings that does not include Nec Plus ultra are shipped and should arrive soon (some backers already recieved their rewards).
Nec Plus Ultra is going to be made this week and I expect GW will ship all the other rewards during the next week (waiting confirmation on this information).

In my opinion, decks turned out awesome, even better than expected. GW did an awesome job with tucks - we used premium black stock, high resolution foil and a deep embossing. I also have a sample of the Nec Plus Ultra tuck and I love it.

As always, USPCC cards are super - the decks I've opened have a good registration, and a superb metallic ink.

I've attached just three pics here, but there are several, also a couple of videos, on the Kickstarter update >>> https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/th ... ts/2316743" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - Check it, I think it's a very valuable one.

A big thank you to everyone pledged for Odissea, I hope the final product will made you happy as I am now.
If you missed it (oh no!), be patient, I will release it for retail once the Kickstarter will be delivered - probably in November.

If you recieved Odissea already.... write me a feedback! It's much appreciated.

P.S. A friendly reminder about Betrayers........ Tomorrow we'll be live :) Some valuable early birds and surprises, only for the fastest ones

Hey Gio,

I received my decks over the weekend, but I hadn’t gotten around to posting about them yet. I was actually at work for an extended period of time when they came in, so I made my wife video call me while she opened the package because I couldn’t wait to see them! They’re awesome! The embossing is superb, as is the foiling. The artwork is just as exceptional as we’ve all come to expect from you. I knew these were going to be special, but they are just breathtaking in person. My Neptune tuck had one small deformity in the actual tuck flap, but nothing that will prevent me from displaying them with pride. I wasn’t able to spring for a Mythica deck during the campaign, but I will definitely be pursuing one once you put them up for sale. Thanks and keep up the great work!

@Wizard of Os - Wow thank you for the awesome feedback! I am happy :-)

About the issue with the flap, send me a mail at giovanni-at-thirdway.it with a picture that display the problem.
If the damage is relatively big I will send you a new deck - and even if it's a minor damage I can provide you a discount on your next purchase (that might be a Mythica deck hehe)

I am waiting a confirmation, but we should start shipping the second wave of Odissea (w/Nec Plus Ultra) this week.

The fact that GW notifications never include information on what it is that is being shipped is driving me up the wall. How difficult could it possibly be?

@Icantshuffle - Yes! It should be Odissea. I've got the confirmation that ALL packages, Nec Plus Ultra included, left GW warehouse yesterday!
I'm waiting to update because I don't have the trackings yet ... hopefully monday!

@Magic Tapp - I agree, this should be easier both for backers and for us creators.
I will tell GW about that. Probably it's not easier as it might looks, but is helpful for sure :)

Anyways, I have to say that GW did a great job so far. Awesome boxes and gilding, and fast shipping.

Hello UC!

Here is a video for the gilding lovers:

I am not a gilding expert at all (my first gilded deck is...my own Nec Plus Ultra) but I have to say I am really impressed by the result.
Gamblers Warehouse gilding is really great and I will use it again for sure in 2019. ALL rewards have been sent. Hopefully US backers should recieve their rewards this weeks, and other within 3. Sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience!

p.s. in the case you haven't already... BACK BETRAYERS  (sorry I had to)

I don't have any other gilded decks, so I can't make comparisons. All I can say is I couldn't imagine it better than it actually is :)
It's accurate and super shiny. It also looks durable.

However, all feedbacks from people who is more expert with gilded decks is welcome, it will help me to plan the future releases.

@portcullis - let me know when the package will arrive ;-)

Odissea Ithaca, Current bid: €300.00

Ithaca’s Story

Odissea decks were made by USPCC without box – just cellowrapped. GW made too few “official” boxes for these – this was not technically an error, since USPCC production numbers are random and impossible to control – I had a lot of “useless” decks, so to prevent to trash them I decided to rely on digital printed tuckboxes, that were turned into Odissea Nemesi (Neptune’s Cards) and Odissea Aegis (Minerva’s Cards). The first two decks had higher runs, so I had few, but enough to release a general sale of these – the problem was Mythica, that had only a super-small number of extra decks available without the box (around 10). Digital printed boxes do not have a minimum number, so I made these anyways – however, 10 decks are too few to sell normally (these will be sold in a second), so I decided to keep them in Italy as a sort of prototypes/rare stuff to unlock when there was a good occasion. It’s Thirdway Day, there are auctions, so I thought it was time to reveal this little secret.

More Ithaca?

I don’t have plans to sell other copies of Ithaca in the future, but during the next months/years I may evaluate to release this deck again, probably with another auction (not necessarily with the same terms as this one) – I consider this a sort of a experiment/prototype, not really an “official” TWI deck.

Actually the first auctions I made were for Patrons only and I believe that some bidders managed to get awesome deals (i.e. an entire set of unique Omnia prototypes for less than €200 shipped) - the current deals are open to everyone, so there are more bidder and a potential higher price.

I dislike sell few decks for high price, especially when the items are shipped from Italy.
I prefer sell many decks with lower price (the "Industries" part is not just a random name) - but several collectors asked for rare stuff in these years and I decided to deliver, at least for my wise-day :-)
Also, I have to say that since a lot of people is trying to sell my decks with insane prices (i.e. a Delirium Signature for 3k, which shocked me a lot), I wanted to offer the same items myself (maybe/hopefully with better deals).

As usual $$$ will be re-invested in broader productions that will be sold to Patrons/general public with good prices (i.e. Good&Evil deck).

i meant no fault to you, gio. i understand they are based on some rare items you have that others wanted. more that the prices that are being reached in the auctions are beyond what i would be willing to pay even though i love your work obviously. some people just gobble up and will pay through the nose for rarity. i am not one of them.
