I'm pretty sure that hating the player that sucks at the game is a legitimate perspective.

Not hating at all. I'm pretty an-cap, therefore everybody is free to ask for what they want and everybody is free to buy whatever he wants.
That said, I do aswell believe in freedom of speech and therefore I call everyone charging 200 bucks for a 25 bucks retail deck a greedy m**t**f**k@ and everyone who buys a 25 bucks deck, no matter how rich he is a st**id/lazy/uninformed m**t**f**k@. Simple as that :D

I have a Jerry's Nugget, Orange Fontaine, Golden (Fort) NOC, (insert a ton of other overpriced hyped out decks here) I can sell you for $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

That is why I recommend to new collectors to not go on a huge spending spree trying to go back and collect all the decks you "missed". I feel it is for the most part a sum zero game. Or namely, you will have no money at the end.

I am fine with folks selling their collections out on ebay and selling surplus decks there. In some ways, selling on ebay can help folks. One of my shipments got lost and I was able to pick up a missing deck on eBay for a healthy premium to the seller, but it helped me fill a hole for a rare deck that I would otherwise miss. I also new the chances of getting it later were near zero, so it was now or never. That said though, folks that don't collect and just resell on ebay. I kind of wish they get stuck with decks no one wants at the original price.

In this specific case, I am not sure they are going to get that price. It may end up selling for LESS. I sure hope so.

Nah. The seller realised that he should hide his greed behind a more realistic offer, if he actually wants to sell this deck.

I received my small package from Lotrek today. The cardstock generally reminds me of the one used for the Ambassador Collectors decks. It is thinner though and does seem to handle okay. No dempling though. Honestly, I really don’t like the way they handle and feel. I’ll defer to cardistry though to critique the handling.

An interesting thing I have noticed about this deck and several of Lotrek's other most recent self-manufactured decks: if you look through each card in the deck starting with the Jokers, everything is "right side up" up through and including the Ace of Clubs, but starting with the 3 of Clubs and from that point on, the cards are "upside down" (meaning that "odd" pips are oriented either up or down depending upon where you are in the deck, rather than always being aligned one way or the other.) When it happened with one deck, I took that to be a fluke. But, I've noticed it with each of the Arabesque players (all three variations) and Less. I haven't looked to see if the same is true of DeNovo yet, but I will shortly.

Just... interesting. I'm curious as to why. It's not a problem. But, it's a fascinating quirk.

That fascinates me. If I opened my decks I wonder if I would have noticed that. My CDO (which is OCD but I have it so bad of course I had to put the letters in order...) almost wants me to open my Lotrek decks and flip them around. Almost...

I hate to keep bothering Lotrek with production questions so I’ll ask the group first......Does anyone know what method he used to seal his Less decks? I like the thin plastic bags and assume he has a machine or something that seals the bag on the open end. Maybe with heat? He does it most of the time (Less, Damask) but occasionally does not (Arabesque Players).

Magistrate1500, Lotrek used the plastic bags. I don't think he is sealing his more mass produced decks (if you can call it that), like the players deska and De Novo.

I think that method's name is vacuum packed. So you put it in the plastic bag and the air gets pulled out, what you're left is a bag just with the item, conserved without air.

Yeah. I don't think it is that special. Besides, most plastic breaths some over time. I wouldn't count on it as some great preservation tool. However, your questions are now outside my paygrade.

Yes most plastic leaks a bit, but the plastic used in this mechanic is mostly more durable than others and specified for this. Normally you can let it stay in that condition for multiple years and there is no (maybe very very very ... little) air in the bag. This is actually a pretty good preservation tool if used correctly and with the right materials.
