I was just joking around too. It doesn't matter if you back the project or not. It's not a big deal. I'm just trying to recapture some of the decks I enjoyed doing the most... since my ex has control of the old ones. lol
Over the next year I hope to explore a few different styles. I don't get too experimental but I want to do what I can.
It's too bad she screwed so many people with her labor day sale she had right at the beginning of our separation. I still hear about it today.

Wait, don't - they were black, right? (still?) Donna and I will each take a brick, Trump won't be the only one, I promise! Remember, we live in Charleston - we want the original limited edition.

If you can't tell, I'm just sick of being Politically Correct at this point.
Well sure - and the controversy wasn't so much as black people being depicted in a poor light, or depicted as slaves - because that was fact. It was more that the screen play was originally called The Clansman and celebrated the KKK as heroes and applauded slavery.

You don't need to be teetering on the far far left to see how that title might no be the best way to advertise your product ;)

(The fact is that the film is still celebrated for other reasons - it was ground breaking in developing cinematic techniques still used to this day - it was the first to feature wide panoramic and moving shots, tight close ups, and must score written for orchestra - among many other innovations)

Anywho - sorry for the tangent - back on track lol.

I like the art and I appreciate the history - I guess its difficult for me to get in the patriotic groove for another country though :D

Best of luck with it though - you deserve the boost after the river of crap you've been dragged through!

I wanted to reveal one of the clues hidden on the AoS. Mainly because it ties into many of the other clues. Without knowing what you're looking for, you'll never be able to find it.

While the placement of the lanterns within the Liberty Tree may not look unusual at first glance... look again. The lanterns form something called the "Tree of Life" which can be found throughout history in various cultures and religions.

RJ, I just noticed your odd-numbered goal- $3313. Is that also some kind of hint?

didn't pay attention to that but that is definitely significant with the FreeMasons, although it'd look more like this 33 1/3. I'd say there has to be some relevance to it.

As the old folks here know, 33 1/3 refers the revolutions per minute of long-playing (LP) records back in the days of vinyl albums. So, clearly, this is a hint that we need to check the records.

Did you refer to them as 33 rpm records or were you explicitly saying 33 1/3? When I was growing up we had 33 rpm and 45 rpm records (and some dusting 78 rpm in the attic) and I had to double check to actually realize that the 33 rpm vinyls of my childhood were indeed rotating slightly faster than I thought they were.

Yes, we referred to "33s" and "45s" and "78s" as shorthand, but everyone knew that 33 meant 33 1/3. In fact, I seem to recall that George Harrison even released an album called "Thirty Three & 1/3."

If you ask who George Harrison was, I'm going to shake my cane at you and tell you to get off my lawn.

Yes, the goal was part of the clue. In a small way. I wanted to make a reference to the numbers as they are important to the Freemasons.
You might think that the video with the codes floating across the screen was significant but it's not. I download the free trial of Adobe Priemer so I only had 30 days to throw that together so I didn't have enough time to actually have the codes spell something out. Maybe next time. ;)

For anyone who missed the Kickstarter... you can still get Rise of a Nation here... https://rise-of-a-nation-playing-cards. ... _preorders
I'm close to the point where I'm seriously thinking about switching the printer to USPCC.

Rise of a Nation has arrived. For some reason I'm missing 5 boxes from the shipment... one of which contained the uncut sheets. I hope to get that issue resolved soon and in a favorable manner.
Shipping will start tomorrow. I hope to have more than half shipped by Friday and the other half once I return from vacation. The arrival of these happened at a piss poor time.

Saw this added to PCDB RISE OF A NATION COLLECTOR EDITION, was this another project or original KS add-on? Tried looking through the KS project but didn't see anything.
