Re: [EBAY] Slavich's eBay Listings
I've been seeing these auctions and wondering just who was liquidating such a collection! So had to come look. Nice to see the Gold ended in line with my pricing guide's value. The Dark Signature pair could exceed it, there is going to be quite a happy collector out there and I wonder what other gem...

Huh, lower than expected, right before xmas probably isn't the best time for high value auctions.

Re: Are there any playing card creators you will just never support?
That's easy, KWP, I've already purged my collection of old decks I had gotten from his KS projects before his extreme religious cultism and predictably associated lack of mental stability became clear. I refuse to give someone like that my support or money, some things go too far to separate the art...

Re: 666 Playing Cards by Riffle Shuffle
Copper>Silver>Gold>Holo. It's why I'm completely happy only having the Bronze & Silver Dark Reserves, I would have the Gold too just for the sake of the trio but aftermarket prices. I made a joke not long ago about 'when's the next 666 recolour?', well here it is, and it's barely even new, they ...

Re: [BUY] My missing Lotrek decks
As someone almost completely without doubles I also don't like having to buy something I already have to get something I don't and then having the hassle of reselling, but sometimes it's just unavoidable or makes more sense than waiting and I've had to do it maybe a dozen times over the years. A sin...

Re: [BUY] Looking for my first Lotrek/Oath whale
What a turn this has taken, that Damask is 30% above the last established price too with the gall to charge shipping on top, true definition of low-life scalping, and pretending to be a legit collector in order to gain more decks to scalp is straight up sociopathic scamming.

Re: Caesar Playing Cards by Riffle Shuffle [KS June 22]
My biggest turn-off is usually the bright basic colours which don't match the artwork, which is especially egregious in this campaign. Thankfully the only decent colourway (usually the or one of the special versions) can be had cheaply from aftermarket without bothering with any of the rest of it. T...

Re: [BUY] Looking for my first Lotrek/Oath whale
It's no secret that the Arabesque Collector's decks are my favourite of all time, I have never seen any cards look like they do (the ink looks like porcelain enamel, combined with the foiling absolutely stunning in person the beauty of which can bring a tear to the eye) and probably never will again...

Re: [BUY] Looking for my first Lotrek/Oath whale
I was once in a similar situation, however my thought was: technically my entire Lotrek collection can fit in the bottom of my backpack when I'm homeless! The other day I saw a 2 year old comment of mine in response to a list of decks someone was looking for which aged very badly "The easiest o...

No, completely 100% disagree. Most people don't even know the signature editions exist, and they're so rare they're unobtainable, they are not realistically part of the Venexiana set. Maybe having written one of the first Lotrek fill guides, a pricing guide, as well as being a supporter/fan since hi...

Saw the previous thread and bid in a couple of your auctions (unfortunately didn't see them until after the Parlour set, I need a Parlour Gaff lol), nobody is going to care about the international shipping costs/time for rarer decks, the same way we've learned to get used to it here, there's not muc...

Re: The Goldsmith by Kevin Cantrell (Cantrell A Priori) with TGW
The value has never been in doubt by anyone with the slightest clue or any attention paid to KS projects etc, which I do because the aussie dollar means every price is 50% higher for me. The favourable comparison to well known patreons and subscriptions (of which I personally support Oath/S17/TWI/Jo...

The GoG on eBay for 700 states that it includes a Blue Silk as well, which would actually make it in line with established values for both individually in previous sale history. There is no photo of the silk however so perhaps confirming with the seller and asking for photos would be best.

I always feel like I'm in the minority in that I never liked the original Golden Oath cards, though they were an important industry first of course, and the tuck is divine . If that Icons print came in the frame you might not have noticed that on the back Lotrek wrote 'for' the purchaser's name and ...

Re: SoCal Playing Cards has a Blue Damask up for auction
I was blindsided by seeing these prices, glad I got mine from Lotrek. To be fair it was 2018 Lotrek (values didn't start heating up until late '19 early '20) and we had with no warning suddenly 24 hours or less to decide to send $115 to Lotrek. I know, no brainer right? Well not so much at the time!...

I haven't looked to see what the Players may have sold for on ebay, but something that Adonai may or may not be aware of -- and any serious collector of Lotrek *should* be aware of -- is that although the original plan was for the Ambassadors Players decks to be plentiful and available at a very af...

All good news. I fear I may have missed the relevant thread, but since this is happening soon, I just need to re-emphasize the absolute necessity of a 'Best Use of Foil' category. Not only was it already relevant and necessary the past two years despite being ignored for other less relevant categori...

aaaaand I'm out. Illogical (not surprising), a limited edition doesn't affect you at all in any way and has been a completely normal and regular thing since the beginning of playing card KS projects, not that you've been around that long. I would also consider toned down TGW branding a negative. Re...

Not hyped yet, although I'm open to it when more previews come along. I hope they really let loose, I just wouldn't want it to end up looking like a Theory11 deck, not a bad thing in itself but we have more than enough of those already lol.

Woo! Time for another update on my collection, it's been a slow year, and there weren't many KS projects at all I was interested in around the middle so I picked up a few cheaper fills instead. If I can get them faster from a retailer, and be disrespected as a backer, im going to do that. And pay a lot more compared to KS whilst also losing access to the often KS exclusive limited decks, but it's your money I guess *shrug* I only just found out about the Red & Green gilded pair via th...

Maybe it's just because I've been following from the start, but we've always known there would be multiple limited decks (and anyone who knows Lotrek knows that his high-end limited decks usually run around 300 copies or less so that's not a surprise), and I've had a long time to accept that I won't...

The first Omnia campaign was the first TWI campaign I was part of ;). I also think 7 decks is far too many, I really enjoy the 3 deck releases the most like Order. Yep. Deck of playing cards is now racist and sexist. Good to know. I just read the entire project page (unfortunately) and that isn't what they are saying at all, you're just being deliberately obtuse which is bad form on your part. Anyway, I don't like the art or the design or the mouthful of a na...

Yeah I'm not gonna read one of FES's typical rambling wall of nothing texts, holy crap they have a lot of spare time. But yeah the idea of filtering the section isn't a good one, if it's a legit new deck it should be there whether good or bad, there's always some value to be found or learnt from. Pl...
