I like the backs, hopefully there's some nice aces/court cards - doubt it though

Judging by the palmed QoH in his had, looks like standard courts to me.

Seems like we've got a few nautical-themed decks all coming out at about the same time. The Victorian deck from TBC feels nautical, to me, at least, as do Legend's Longtitude (sic) and Latitude decks.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think this is a bad thing. Just an interesting convergence.

PS: Shouldn't E release Madison Finder before releasing Keeper?

I'm pretty disappointed with E's stuff now, the light house towers look like clip art.

Glad to see the Gorton fisherman getting work.
JC and QC are custom. extra qH, ad card. It's an okay $3 deck.

I'm not sure if I missed it. But I believe you have to buy 12 to get their low 5$ price and there is only that option or buy 3 option. What if I don't want 3. That's crazy.

At $7/deck (unless you buy a brick), this deck is overpriced. E keeps making it easy on my wallet. Between the lack of effort and the shipping costs I haven't bought directly from E in about 2 years.

Am I the only one who finds their emails misleading. It clearly said only $5 each in the email, turns out it's only if you buy 12!

I swear they have lawyers on their payroll that come up with this stuff. No one is better at toeing the line between true and untrue than E.

I asked E on Instagram why there is no option for only one deck. As i am a collector on a budget and can not drop, nor do i want to on multiples of the same deck. their reply is this. "we expect this to be a worker deck people will continue to use so we made it easier to grab larger amounts for less $$" I was a black club member last year and was taken advantage of. Promised an opportunity and never received it. Now I am fed up. They are forcing me to buy 3 decks for 21$ and pay out the ying yang for shipping, for a deck they are willing to sell at 5$ a pop. Its not that I am in love with this deck. Its the fact that they assume they can get whatever they want and dont care. NOT COOL!

Told ya not to buy that membership ;) Although Club808 isn't worth it either now. Are there any good memberships out there for simply card collecting??

it was a christmas gift. i would have enjoyed something else probably more. And i did the playing card collectors membership. It gives a decent discount towards purchases, some of the decks they offer to club members was pretty good. but over all not many are worth it IMO. Then again i am still pretty new at this collecting stuff. only a year and half in. I still have stuff to learn

How about the CPC membership? Gives you a discount off all purchases, plus the odd exclusive deck, good way to save money on a good variety of decks. Heck use the code vic10 to get $10 off membership, if it still works ;)

I am a bit late to the party here but I say my 2 cents about this deck.

I actually like the custom elements of this deck. They are not great, but the back is pretty good, the Joker is quite nice and the tuck looks quite good as well. I think Ellusionist rushed this deck. 2 more months of work and we could have had a very nice deck here. Now we have just a pretty by the numbers deck.

Oban Jones has now done Sleepers, which I got to give credit for originality although the design was horrible, Killer Bees which were okay, Bumblebee which I thought were Ellusionists best deck last year and also one of their best of all time and this which has a few nice elements, but just not enough of them.

I'm hoping that Oban Jones' next deck will be better, he shows promise as a playing card designer although Bumblebee is his only better-than-average deck so far. Let's hope that Ellusionist does more of his decks than Madisons. Or anyones decks really rather than Madisons. I hope that we don't get more than 2 Madison decks this year.
