"Well... I had some production issues with the ARMY deck, so I had to delay it for a bit. However I've been working on a little project in secret for a while that I've bumped up on my schedule. Be looking out on Kickstarter as it will be going live tomorrow."

Looks great, Jackson's usual superb work. What, only two decks? ;) ;) ;)

yes... would be hard (er) to resist if I saw a black/gold version (yea I know its over done but that combo still turns my eye every time.

As for the theme ..... I think I'd be all over this one no matter what.

USPCC? EPCC? QPC? MPC? Fred's Playing Cards and Tofu Hut? Not that it matters as much to me as to some other collectors; Jackson loves playing cards, and I'm sure he'll pick a printer who can do justice to the art of the draw(ing).

But... I thought Jackson was going to stop using KS except for the military decks. Did I misremember that?

Don't get me wrong; I love his art, I am impressed with the improvements he has made to his shipping part of the business (my recent order was delivered correctly and super fast), and as long as the prices don't go insane, I'll be jumping on board this project as I have with his others. But... did I misremember that he was going to be stepping away from KS?

Oh man, I hope this campaign will be longer than 35 days. I've already pledged for other campaigns that end at around the same time, and I need at least a week to recover!

I really like those tuck boxes.

It's four decks....so far. The crown and continental have the fancy tuck with additional artwork. The independence seems to have standard tucks.

I thought "The Independence" was just the name of the set.

I could be wrong. It's just that the decks from the side look considerably thicker than the center ones to me.

Heyo if it's only two this time around (despite being out of JR's norm) even better for me. I am spent!

That's how I took it too... The Independance Set with 'The Crown' (red ... redcoats) being one deck and 'The Continental' (blue) being the other.

If these are Limited Editions pictured, does that mean there will be regular editions as well? Knowing JR's modus operandi I'd lean towards regular tucks of both crown & continental with limited editions being the special tuck versions. Time to go back to the blood bank I guess.

He did say he was going to eventually not use KS, but he didn't explicitly say that his other deck projects will not be funded using KS. This is what he said over at the Aether:

"I'm gonna go ahead and post a sad face in Magikfingerz's honor, for them being Kickstarters. :(

Things are going great for Kings Wild, and I have some other plans I'm working on that will be off of Kickstarter. For me Kickstarter isn't broke yet so I'm not gonna try and fix it.

With that said I'm trying to make strategic decisions and moves to get me out of the Kickstarter cycle, because I don't think it's wise for my new business to keep all my eggs in one basket."

The black/red foil Limited Reserve from Part 2 knocks my socks off. Will be interesting to see if he expands this.

Could be for like the Dougherty set- two plain and two fancy tucks.

2 decks: crown and continental. Each will have a standard version and a limited edition version tuck box. So, 4 total variations thus far. Printed by expert playing card company. :)

Wow! I wonder what other little secret projects he is working on. The theme is solid. Continental and British forces. Of course, we are going to see George Washington as the King, but I would have probabley added a Cannon for the 10 ten card just to get more firepower...

I do have questions about the tuck box. Is that your design Jackson or is that something new coming out on the market? From what I know, the Bee tuck box is made by a 3rd party vender for the USPCC.

That special tuck looks like something CARC and EPCC might have had a hand in? Could be wrong though.

The tuck case you see featured with the Limited Edition is my own tuck case. I designed the die for it and developed its construction. The card stock of the tuck case is also custom in the fact that it has visible fibers made into the paper much like currency, something I wish I would have had for the Fed series. You will only see this tuck case used by Kings Wild Project.

Special Note: The Edition numbers of the Limited Edition decks will be printed uniquely on every tuck case.

Heh, if he does that I'll be playing with my decks like they're toy soldiers.

@JR: that's a wonderful design! Very unique. :)
Could we bother you for an estimated launch time?

PS : A really big thank you for your valentine day "brick" promotion. This help me to do a giant step with my starting card collection by integration of your fabulous decks in...

Hey guys, I currently at the National Money and Currency Show in Atlanta Georgia selling my Feds, but I will most likely try to launch around 12pm Central time.

There is also a pic of the Ace of Spades on my Facebook page if you would like to check them out.
