Hello, everyone

I'm dennis63, and I just realized that I've posted on Unitedcardlists without introducing myself.

I guess you could say I've been collecting cards all my life without realizing it. (Mostly Bicylce and "Bee" and KEM, and I have some Gemaco, old pre-USPC Hoyle, Catamundi and others. I'm visiting from the world of poker chip collecting, where a few people collect cards. I've wandered over to your site to announce the Key West Resort & Casino deck I am trying to get funded on Kickstarter, and have found this place to be very full of great information.

Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

Dennis

Welcome Dennis,
It's always good to get another voice around here. I, myself, migrated over from Chiptalk and HPT where plastic cards seem to reign supreme. This forum and others have a high percentage of Magicians and Card Handlers (Cardists) that prefer paper card decks. I am trying to open minds on both sides of the spectrum to the pros of both types. Your designs and opinions will welcome here.

Hi Dennis, I'm a backer of your deck on KS. Just wanted to say hi. And maybe a few words about your deck. I've backed the deck because I really liked their back colors. I don't like standard deck cards so please don't be offended. Your deck interested me just for its color selection and IMHO it deserves to be backed because of that.

Not offended at all, my friend! Thank you for backing the deck on KS, and for keeping an open mind about it.

I actually thought almost everyone would back this for two decks, if only to see and feel the quality for themselves, since it's not the usual company.

Instead, it's really been "open season" on this deck, right from the first post, despite positive video reviews of the decks by everyone (so far) who has gotten decks to review.

By "standard," do you mean poker size decks?

No, I mean the decks which have standard pip cards. I like to collect decks which are completely redesigned including the pips but some standard decks like yours do convince to buy them. (I'm not sure if using the term "pip" explains what I mean)
