Nice! Must have these. Although I might debate the "easy to shuffle" assertion.
I'm trying to imagine holding onto these when they're new out of the box. It'll depend on the finish.
Anyone know when this and the Cupid Back are going on sale? I don't want to order the Cigar deck if these will be available in like 2 days or something.

The cupid backs were suppose to be released today.
These remind me of an old European deck I've seen which featured soldiers. Can't remember much else about them at the moment. Anyone else know them?
I like this format but have always found the Hoyle faces unappealing. Modiano has also designed a slim deck, which I think is still available, but may only have Italian suits and face designs in that format.
Interesting little idea but I really wonder what makes these so "easy to shuffle" that they have that be the primary selling point? Seems like those would be quite horrendous to do almost any shuffle with, even the grandma overhand.

Oh well, three cheers to marketing.
Yeah, that was my initial thoughts as well. I think their reasoning is that they make a riffle shuffle "easier" just because they're easier to bend length-wise. Whoop-de-fraggle-doo
I like these cards. Where are we supposed to buy them from? They're not available on the Bicycle site yet. I thought the Cupid Back and the Nautic Backs were supposed to be available on the Bicycle website as well.......
I asked them about this and the new Cupid Back and they are hoping to have them available by the end of this week, seems like they are just waiting for them to arrive. They planned on releasing them a few days ago.
