"Pride of Peacocks" with only 2 colors? Doesn't really fit the theme...

It is a bit pricey with shipping, even as an early backer. I am in, for now.

With that price, even at EB, and standard courts, as much as I do like everything else about it I'm going to have to pass.

Yea, something's missing though it looks great. More colors and a bright look?

The back is nice enough but when I look at it I don't get peacock vibes.

I really dig the back design and color theme, though I do agree with Neo that there should be more colors in a peacock deck. But I don't like when back and front borders don't match ESPECIALLY when the navy color is so bold. But $21, shipped for a Cartamundi deck? Nope.

The tuck is nice. The back design itself is nice but is a complete miss concerning color distribution. The faces are fine but also need more vibrant coloring. It doesn't fit the name.

I liked this. Pretty much everything about this. I love that back design. But damn it, can't back this with those court cards. With actual custom court cards, I'd get one in a heartbeat.

I contacted the designer and told him my thoughts about the deck (good deck with not-so-good courts). He told me that he is aware of the problem and is going to design new court cards if this campaign fails to fund and even if it funds, he will design a v2 with custom courts.

Seemed like a nice guy, invited him to join.

As for the lack of color, peacocks are not actually crazy colorful, it's a blue bird with a green-blue buttfan. And the "eyes" in the the back design really look like peacock feathers and the ace of spades really look like it has a peacock on it. I think this deck actually captures the theme quite well.

Fair enough, but you can't deny that the circled part of his own photo is quite a bit more colorful and visually impactful than the back design. The green and light blue hues you can see make up important parts of what evokes the peacock palette, and I can't really see any reason for omitting them.

Tom, maybe you're right, it could use maybe some emerald green or teal color in it. But still it's not completely off as it is.

Off? No. But incomplete? Yes. Female cardinals are brown but if I made a cardinal deck and colored it brown I'm sure it wouldn't *fly* 8-)

it looks like nearly everything about this deck has been completely redesigned and vastly improved - congrats to the designer/creator :)

I especially appreciate the new back design:
