Yeah, I guessed that the coupon code might be difficult to see This is the issue with the long updates.
I will prepare a custom graphics with the code the next time, hopefully it will be easier to see.

I can't partial refund the amount of code, but I can give you a credit to spend on my site during 2019

@portcullis - I am very sorry for the delay, some orders are still in transit, I guess because Xmas/end of the year.
Keep me updated, if we see the package will delay too much it might be lost and I will reship.

Shipping during Holidays is a true nightmare, every year I remember how complicated it is haha

First off, the deck is awesome! there's no doubts about that - this kinda betrayal is most definitely the best way to start any new year lol (also, I nearly got hit by a truck today, so this DEF is the highlight of 2019 so far... )



And secondly - that coupon code!! woot woot! Unfortunately, I missed out on the EBs earlier because I was at work at the time and couldn't order then, but was glad to have that coupon so I could take some time when I got home to add a couple other decks to my order yay!

Talk about not reading your email. I didn't even realize there was a new Betrayers Deck out. Okay, drink some coffee and make my order and make sure to put in the code. I am sure I have forgotten to do that more than a few times.

Gio, did USPCC mention anything to you about reduced work hours or production capacity? The area was very cold today - about -15°C before windchill - and half the workers in our warehouse in Erlanger, just up the street from USPCC, called out due to the weather and the road conditions. Also, I don't know much about how temperature-sensitive the printing process is, but I can't imagine it's ideal for all those metal dies to get so cold; insulation and central heating can only do so much against subzero temperatures, especially in a large industrial building.

@STLBluesNut - Thank you! Invictus tuckbox is not embossed, I wanted to do a simple box with only premium paper and foil.

@Merlebird - I wateched the news and I saw how cold are United States now. I am worried about people there I hope everyone is fine.
About Betrayers, USPCC decks are finished and travelling to Texas - they should arrive later today. Hopefully the cold weather should not be an issue for the delivery/production (decks were made last week).

I will update when I'll get pictures from GW.... can't wait!

Yes, GW being in Texas is a real boon there; as long as the truck made it out of USPCC before the polar vortex hit, I imagine they should arrive there smoothly. (I say "as long as they made it out before the vortex hit" because if it gets too cold, the air in a truck's brake lines can freeze and render the brakes inoperable I've seen this cause many a delay in pickup and delivery during winter.)

The cold may add a bit of lag time to the final delivery, depending on the customer's address - in many areas of the northern US, the postal service has actually suspended mail delivery - but there's really nothing to be done about that. The decks should be worth the wait

Damn -19° C is scary.
I'm a "Summer person", I hate winter and even the ridicolous cold we have here in North Italy (around -5°C) is enough annoying for me.

I've just received Betrayers Invictus in Italy and I am very happy... pics soon!
Cartamundi is definitely a great choice and I will make more decks with them in future

I don't. (I would get fired for stealing supplies so fast.... ) But their Erlanger plant is just down the street from my office so I figure anything that affects us (power outages, winter storms, etc.) probably affects them too.

Some additional comments for cards connoisseurs:

I'm still a huge fan of USPCC, and it will be always my first choice for my future projects - but Cartamundi definitely impressed me with Betrayers Invictus.

Finish and card stock is - in my humble opinion - great. Registration is perfect. It's a great alternative to USPCC.

Cold foil is shiny, it's accurate and it does not damage the card in any way. Probably I will always choose cold foil over hotfoil (on cards, of course).

USPCC metallic inks are better than Cartamundi's (I've used an ink on purpose for compare it with USPCC's) - but they're still good, shinier thank the ones of the decks I've printed in Taiwan.

The huge issue (of course on my side only, but it impact on campaigns) is that being in Europe, I have to pay a very high shipping cost to deliver to Texas. Anyways, it's sustainable.

Cartamundi was very fast, I really enjoyed work with them: this does not impact on the final product, but overall is very important

It's nice to hear a great objective opinion! I posted one about Cart in the Jurassic Park Deck thread about how impressed I was with them. I'll follow up on it here saying that over time the stock doesn't hold up as well as USPCC. The cards got pretty flimsy over time. It wasn't overnight by any means but USPCC's stock still seems to be second to none.

Talking about USPCC, I've received the "unlimited" Betrayers decks and they're very cool.

The other great news is that fulfillment is almost completed. I and Gambler's Warehouse worked really hard to make this happen

Hello UC! I have a favor to ask

I checked some trackings and I think that many backers will recieve Betrayers this week - maybe today.
ALL packages are out, even the huge Boxes, sent via UPS Courier.

If you received the package (and everything is OK, of course) please comment on the Kickstarter page.

I am going to resubmit Monolith campaign soon, so I might be able to launch the 15th as planned, and I would like to prove Kickstarter that the Betrayers packages are coming.
