This is what I like to see more of with LE decks. That effort and care has been invested to make it stand out as a truly unique and prized possession. Lotrek is doing a fantastic job with the signature series and it's just to die for.
Nice work JR.
It will also have unique and different courts. The Standard set will have ladies of the day as queens. The Limited Edition will have famous warships from both the Continental Navy and the British Navy as the Queens.

Dude, get out of my head, agree with you 100%
I really like what you've done with the limited editions here Jackson, you're definitely pushing the scene in a direction that I believe most of us want to see it head. Though, in the vein of MagicFingerz's concern, will there be any sort of seal on the ltd's before you get to the cards like an imitation tax stamp or other such seal? Or will there be no way to tell if somebody has opened the decks if they did it carefully?

I'm really digging the no destructive seal on the LE decks... Will it make for some bad ebay sales when someone gets a chocolate smudged joker ... sure but thats not something that should dictate the design of top shelf decks.

I open all my decks, and these will be no different. I hate that doing so usually means damaging/cutting the seal and/or cellophane, so this is a plus.

If we're pledging for them I don't see the problem with unsealed decks. If we were buying them aftermarket that's another story.

That's a good point.
I'm glad (on Jackson's behalf, and for the sake of this deck) that this is receiving a positive reaction. It mirrors my own, and I was worried people would riot against it. I'm sure some will though, eventually. But like we've learned before; you can't please everybody.

I can't believe I live about 30 minutes away from the money show Jackson was at and did not know it! So much for paying attention to the posts the past few days. I would have much rather have bugged him at the show versus going IKEA shopping with the wife...
Oh well. Congrats again Jackson on what looks like the beginnings of another very successful campaign.

Success?!? Yea we could say that:
CURRENT PLEDGE LEVEL LAST UPDATED: 42 MINUTES AGO
$51,859 86% OF GOAL
TRENDING* TOWARD $2,126,219 - 3543% OF GOAL

The card stock of the tuck case is also custom in the fact that it has visible fibers made into the paper much like currency, something I wish I would have had for the Fed series. You will only see this tuck case used by Kings Wild Project.
Special Note: The Edition numbers of the Limited Edition decks will be printed uniquely on every tuck case.
Oops. My bad! You caught me totally off guard and I was on a plane most of the day. Only the special collector's boxes are made with the involvement of EPCC.
Congrats Jackson, on an astronomical launch day!
No matter what you do, some people are always going to complain when you try to be original.

If that trend held, I'd be canceling my pledge and instead investing it in buying shares when King's Wild goes public.

I like that you've taken traditional subject and done some very creative things with it, Jackson. Of course, Fed 52 did the same but I think this is a stronger group. You've succeeded in pushing your own envelope.

There's been a couple cases of "moving the goal posts" and that sours the taste of a project. I like it when a designer throws everything on the table at the outset and sticks to the plan. No surprises.
Couldn't agree more Magik, this is a sweet project!

I have seen too little of the deck to put in a huge investment for now, maybe I'll just snag one of those LEs and sit on it for awhile

Amazing that this will fund @ $60k in less than 12 hours. Heck, it may fund in 10 hours, less than $500 to go right now. About $100 pledged every minute on average.
**EDIT*** Boom! Funded!

As I recall Fed52 II funded in love 15 minutes? Definitely quicker, seem sure it was under an hour. Maybe I'm wrong?

True, but the "goal" for that project was $16,000. Independence also cleared its first $16K pretty quickly.
The goal for Sherlock Holmes was $30,000.
This one covered $60,000 in ten hours. Not too shabby.
Sherlock Holmes ended up clearing $100K, if I recall, in pledges. That bodes well for the success of this project. (And he hasn't even offered a dealer coin for this one, yet.

That was brutal. I haven't pledged because of I missed on the one and two of everything. I thought there would be more pledge levels to go around. Oh well. All is fair in love and war. Hopefully I'll be able to snag a SL22 tier down the road.

I missed out on the SL22 also, I managed to get an SL11 when there was like 2 remaining. I wonder how many were knee jerk pledges. Just so they got something.

Just out of curiosity, not knowing the mechanics of how KS works...if someone cancelled their pledge for a "Limited - All Gone" item, would that pledge spot reopen for someone else to snag?

Yeah it would. I think. I've seen limited numbers go up and down before. But not sure what happens once they are 'All Gone'
