Looks like there are still 122 "White Gold Aurums Decks" left. Wonder why? (Also still about 2,153 Aurums decks left as well). I would have thought these would have been all sold out by now.

Distribution? I imagine as an independent designer it's hard to get the word out about a new deck. Also, it is quite pricey (yes I know it's worth it, I have 3 on the way myself, although not received yet ;( )

I think it's the same reason that Emmanuel's amazing Curator deck only sold about half of a very small run so far (and that HOPC deck is a 'cheap' one). There are a lot of decks out, people are being a bit more picky. As Strag said, getting the word out takes effort. As more reviews show up and more people learn about it, I'm sure it will sell out eventually.

To be honest, I don't think it has anything to do with the design of the deck, and the price of the deck is only affecting sales to a point. I really believe it is because the number of decks that have been released this Year is just staggering. People only have so much money they can allocate to their hobbies, plus the economy is bad everywhere except Jupiter and I am sure that is what is affecting sales of all decks.
Thanks!

Just to update your info, Mike, I have a good friend in Jupiter that has told me things there and in the rest of the Solar system are the same, and trend to be worse indeed.
I would appreciate a calmer rhythm of decks release and I think I told on mine and on most of the alien life's parts.
Best wishes for all the universe
Max

Agreed with everything said, although there are exceptions. Despite the economy and the number of decks out right now, those factors didn't stop Tyler Deebs' astronomical kickstarter for his Misc. Goods deck. His exposure + his network of graphic designers trumped everything. Every case is going to be different. I knew going into the release of the Curators that it wouldn't sell out quickly. It would have been nice to, but I'm happy with the sales so far and the fact that the deck exists in the first place is a huge personal achievement.
Paul, when my wallet gets fuller I am definitely getting Aurums. In the meantime, check your mailbox this week

Agreed!! And an off topic thank for following through on the Curator. I've been a fan since I first laid eyes on the images.
So happy this is in the world. Now to sit back and await your "Clipped Wings" deck. Could you maybe start a thread here about it?

The guys just finished the first Trailer for Aurum. They did a really nice job! I think it's worth a couple minutes of your time.

It's more than a nice job, it's an excellent trailer Paul!

I was absent for a while and now I have to read so many posts but had to stop here to thank you. My deck arrived last week when I wasn't in town. It was a nice surprise to find the mailbox on my desk when I got back to the office on Monday. They really are much more then their images when you put your hands on them. I especially liked the typeset. They are one of my favorites right now (and for sure I like them more than the Tendril deck). Even the box design and quality is above most of my decks. The Tenderil box wasn't nice. It looked so cheap. This one shines in my collection. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comments Montag, glad you like them. I did learn a lot doing Tendril and I'd hoped that came through in the design of Aurum. Lots of detailed tricks in the design process. Enjoy the cards!
