I have to agree, features that make a deck a marked deck or a stripper deck are really significant and should be clearly indicated. I stay away from these types of decks because they can't be used for regular card play (at least not ethically). Stripper decks are more expensive to produce, especially to do them correctly, and I haven't heard that the Chinese factory even has that capability. Although I guess with Lawrence Sullivan being a magician it shouldn't be a surprise if they did start to produce stripper decks.

The decks are DEFINITELY stripper decks. I have opened three of them and the stripper function works well on all three. Don't think they detract much from gameplay, just the tiniest bit annoying if you want to square the deck and have a perfectly flush edge. Although I suppose an unethical dealer could cheat pretty easily so I get what you mean. They were NOT advertised as such though. You are certainly right to gripe about that. I will hit all of these rather controversial points in my review incomming.

I'm sure the site mentioned that the decks were stripper decks. I don't find it now but I'm sure it was there.
I knew that when i bought it.

In the description on the website they didnt mention anything about stripper. I will give my hand into fire for that. On David Blaine's Instagram was a post about the deck that its with Jerry Nugget finish and they are stripped. To be honest there is a big difference between stripped deck and stripper deck.
Anyways the point is ... they didnt advertise the deck as Stripper at all. He just posted on his IG that the deck is "stripped" which means actually something else.

In the page where you really added the deck to the cart, I don't know, I can't reach it now.
I know I saw it somewhere.

As I said... they didnt mention in the description even before. There was a talk on reddit if the deck is stripper, because it was mentioned on IG, but not on shopping page. Also it doesnt make any sense that they would delete that its a stripper deck.

I maintain that this was false advertisement. Even if it was mentioned *somewhere* that it was a stripper deck it was clearly not obvious. And coming from someone as reputable as David Blaine is disgusting. A stripper deck is for magic and slight of hand ONLY and should have been advertised as such. I would be trying everything I could to return this deck for a full refund including shipping if I bought one (thank God I didn't). This crime has now tainted any future purchases with Blaine as we can no longer assume we will be receiving a regular deck of playing cards unless it is clearly stated or else we could be ending up with a Svengali White Lions deck. How awful that he has gotten away with this.
Excellent review. You videos are always great and unbiased.

There's a bunch of YouTube deck reviewers out there that I like to check out. Magic Orthodoxy is still going strong. I really liked Scrambled Decks as well, but he seems to have stopped doing reviews a year ago. Even Victor, for all his quirks, reviews a really broad range of decks. But in terms of substantive content and production value, I think the Gentleman has climbed to the top of my list of reviewers. Well done review of the Stoics deck indeed, thank you.

I hate this deck more than Observer maybe i'm so dumb but who made the 1-way face not same direction of stripper side???
Stack the deck in 1-way face and stripper like completely ruined then why they did the designs like that in first place

You should do deck reviews more often on your channel! It will blow up.

I would if I could. I have a full time job lol. I wish I was able to make some income from YouTube but I’m far from that lol. 1,000,000 views is roughly $5,000. I think I have 12,000 views. Gonna be a long while. I also sometimes wonder if the audience in playing cards is too narrow or niche. I think maybe eventually I will branch out and do some other different kinds of content.

I always expect to see you taking a sip of scotch the way you're sitting by the table in dim light GWake. Classy location, like this...

Fine if you branch out, but PLEASE don't stop making the occasional deck review. Us FEW followers do really like your reviews. Sadly though you are right, this is a very limited audience. But, we are supportive and enthusiastic

I've shared some of the videos in my fb page (I don't think you'll get many subscribers from there) and in a card collector's group (you may have gotten some subscribers from there)

My definite goal is to keep all of my current viewers satisfied and subscribed! I won't be giving up deck reviews any time soon. Ideally though I do hope viewers and audiences will begin to enjoy just spending time watching the content. Be it reviews or vlogs or other things. Going to be starting my Wife's channel soon and there will be a lot of stuff with me in it as well as the fact that all of it will be shot by me (and her). So it will be interesting to see if people want to know more about us not just on the card front.

Much appreciates! This is all I can ask for from fans of the content. If you enjoy and believe in it... please do share it!
