Hey Lotrek, have you thought about releasing a few of these with gilded edges? I'm sure it'd up the prices enormously but I think these would look amazing gilded.

Well, you know that WOULD be nice, but I just don't think it's practical - this time. Rest assured, since Lotrek learned his lessons (twice!) doing these, there will be a next time, and when he does something like this again - everyone here will be amongst the first to know.

We are silently plotting and may perhaps sell the red (hearts & diamonds) cards as singles, since those were salvaged. The black cards were the ones that were damaged beyond repair. Nothing set in stone just yet, but that's the latest we discussed. That being said, Lotrek is taking a few days breather after doing these basically 24 hours a day until he was done, and then scooting back to Berlin with the booty already having been posted.

Mine came in the mail yesterday. I'm in Virginia, USA and am very annoyed I hadn't yet ordered cotton gloves

I've got mine - always ready. I just have to be careful living on the coast: it's way too easy to get yourself just a little salt air on the decks and that's just not good. Besides, if you open a deck of cards and leave it lying around in a non-climate controlled room where I live it takes about a week for it to suck enough moisture out of the air to make it bust the tuck open. Just not a good idea, either.

Got one of my deck a few days ago and Lotrek confirmed that the second one had been sent. They are absolutely stunning. Eeven my wife that snickers at my hobby made a comment that they were beautiful

Side note, have you decided what will happen with the error cards? Any chance I could buy one of the jokers in the pic I attached? Easily one of my favorite cards from recent history.

I'm thinking black friday is the best weekend to put decks up for sale. I'll definitely be selling some decks for that weekend till Christmas.

Who is this masked man selling their Venexiana...it's me! It's true I haven't posted yet but I am fairly new to the collecting world of playing cards so I mostly lurk and read comments to gain a better understanding of this new world to me. I am also a business man and have found ebay to be a wonderful resource to make money to fund my hobbies. I was able to get two decks, a chance everyone else here was offered. One deck is going into my collection and the other is offered at the listed price to cover both the decks plus fees. I know nobody is directly bashing me for this but capitalism is a wonderful thing. I have sold some amazing limited edition decks to very happy collectors around the world and currently have many decks available in my ebay store. I am an honest, reliable seller who loves collecting playing cards too.

Thanks Mike for the warm welcome! One of the reasons I found this board was through Mike and interactions with him on some purchases I made from his eBay store. I knew nothing of Mike in the card community at that stage but it was clear how passionate he is about collecting and creating playing cards. He went out of his way to help me find some specific decks I was looking for. So, I guess I'm just thanking Mike for raising my interest and knowledge in card collecting and going out of his way to help me!
