can't believe people have pledged on the 5k level, had a feeling this would go badly wrong.

He fell over dead when the rush was over. He'll be notifying everyone what number they are later, tomorrow I assume.chach wrote:It's up and I got my pledge in! Now for the confirm. Lotrek, will you be letting us know what number we got?
I think it would be great if the actual UC members have something exclusive like last time.McSpazzy wrote:Dammit dammit dammit...I slept through it! Curse you alarm, curse you!
What was the exclusive last time?runit wrote:I think it would be great if the actual UC members have something exclusive like last time.McSpazzy wrote:Dammit dammit dammit...I slept through it! Curse you alarm, curse you!
Missed on it too. It was midnight for us.
That would be nice!runit wrote:I think it would be great if the actual UC members have something exclusive like last time.McSpazzy wrote:Dammit dammit dammit...I slept through it! Curse you alarm, curse you!
I'm wondering about that, myself. All I could gather from the Bicycle UnitedCardists deck was that some people got a free Grid 2.0 or Mythos Necronomicon deck from 4PM Designs. Not sure if this is what McSpazzy is referring to, however. This could have been available to anyone who backed the Kickstarter.DukeBoy wrote:What was the exclusive last time?runit wrote:I think it would be great if the actual UC members have something exclusive like last time.McSpazzy wrote:Dammit dammit dammit...I slept through it! I'd love to do something like that, but it just wouldn't be practical with the way it's being done this year. I didn't grab the reigns and lock Lotrek out of the funding process. I won't go into it, but Randy actually had to make a pledge last year just so he could comment. hmmm... The logistics just won't work well this time, the deck doesn't truly belong to UC like it did before, it's not going to reside in my house (or workplace) until it's all sold, either. I don't remember asking, but fairly certain that it's going to be fulfilled using the "Great Lakes" people that he used for Venexiana, which worked really well from all I have heard. They also are working in conjunction with "International Mail Service", which coordinates shipping the orders overseas as well.volantangel wrote:Last year, before the UC deck was launched on KS, we had period where we could order the UC deck through BMP and had slightly lower rates.
Why's that, Yashi? It was made known at least two days before he made the first group available yesterday afternoon that you could order both if you wanted to, it is "60 backers" instead of 60 units. There will be another 20 slots opened sometime in the last few days.Yashi wrote:I decided to pass on the signature edition decks. I figured if I couldn't get them both, might as well not get one.
Thanks !Lotrek wrote:All UC members who have pledged for the Grotesque deck, will get a gift from me as a thank you for your contribution to what seems to be a big success. I'm working on it.
You are AMAZING!

I'm just proud to be a member of a forum that can pull off such an astounding deck. Kudos to Lotrek, Mike and all you others who have worked hard to get this project off to such a great start.chach wrote:Won't see me complaining. I'm happy even without any free gifts.
Yashi mentioned wanting both but only having enough money for one.Mike Ratledge wrote:Why's that, Yashi? (and Shermaine - Lotrek still has a few cards up his sleeve that I haven't let on about yet. I'll let him announce when he's ready instead of meddling - this time)
Thanks, Lotrek!Lotrek wrote:All UC members who have pledged for the Grotesque deck, will get a gift from me as a thank you for your contribution to what seems to be a big success. I'm working on it.

Oh no : a spoiler...TLZ1979 wrote:got it, the surprise gift, is a card added to the box, saying
"UC Members are Amazing"
This card could be only send to UC member who pledged (why not signed or/and with pseudo/real name on it)... It worth it...McSpazzy wrote:Then we end up getting a card that says 'I supported UC and all I got was this lousy card'
