I had a chuckle when I saw this. I think we all like Murphys Magic ,but if you have been following this thread, this may not be the best place or deck to advertise hehe.

This would be like McDonalds putting out an ad on a forum talking about a huge shipment of meat laden with Ebola and mixed with manure.

Stop by your local McDonald's for our new limited time special recipe burgers!

Probably not going to be many takers. The post did make me laugh though. Probably had no idea what the rest of the thread was about.

You know what?

I want to commend Murphy's for how they handled their post here. They have listened to our feedback and adapted, accordingly. They now point out that the links to their site are *for more information on each deck.* PLUS, they added their post to an existing thread for these decks, rather than starting a new one.

Yeah, I know, most of this thread has been spent decrying J&T for not getting the point of their customer complaints, but Murphy's *has* been listening, and has been adjusting their messaging. So, kudos to Murphy's.

As for J&T... I think it's a shame they are not even considering a refund for the product they are clearly not delivering. That said, they are at least offering *something* (the additional decks), which is more than can be said of certain other project creators who have fallen short. That said, I appreciate the fact that they are still coming into the lion's den and reading what their critics have to say. I hope this will lead to a better understanding and better... project management, at least... down the road.

Frankly, while this whole escapade does make me unlikely to back future KS projects of theirs, it doesn't discourage me from considering buying the decks after they've been produced in the after-market.

How many of us didn't back but are still concerned with the way this was handled? At least 60-70%?

It's not about a box for us. We couldn't care less about a box that we didn't order. This has everything to do with trust in Kickstarter as a platform and has a knock on effect on campaigns we may do in future.

J+T's complete ineptitude in sourcing a viable supplier before offering a reward is a huge risk that has completely bitten them in the arse and yes, unfortunately, this means giving money back to backers.

Presumably there is stock left over - you will sell this stock (as you are doing through Murphy's) and should use THIS money to pay your backers. There is no excuse. Of course there's no money left - noone makes money off KS alone. But they have what they wanted - the decks. And now they're profiting from them.

They need to do the right thing and refund your backers the difference.

I'd be pissed if I backed that collector's tier but luckily I only collect playing cards. I've backed like 100+ KS projects and I can probably count on one hand the amount of non-playing card deck things (add-ons) I've backed within those projects. That way I don't have to worry about this box nonsense or the VXD metal case disaster. I only need to worry about that scamming itchbay Natalia

The VXD metal case damage control SHOULD set an example for J&T...
Please learn well.

Thank you very much. We are trying our best to adapt to feedback. Sometimes a new thread may be made, but if so, it is completely unintentional. As for this deck in particular, our only intent was to let you know that we have offered it to our dealers and is now available if anyone is interested, separate from anything that may have happened with the kickstarter campaign. We, as a wholesaler, like to make as much as possible available to you - and that was our only intent - to let you know it is now available. We were not directly involved in the kickstarter campaign mentioned.

yo Murphys - it's awesome to have you comin' around and even more so that you're actually paying attention and engaging with the community!

I appreciate your posts letting us know what & when new decks become available (even if they do happen to come from crap producers and botched KS campaigns lol) - so thanks! :D

Apparently, from J&T's IG story, they are the official sponsor of the 2019 Cardistry-Con in Portland
That's why they could be so confident in their fanbase outside of UC

I heard there is a cocktail social following the convention. Hosted by the SVI Group.

I don't know if it's fair to put J&T on the same level as the SVI Group.

I suppose. J&T did throw some shade here, though, early on during criticism. They both have awful PR.

Thank to Sherman's suggestion, I got my refund from by credit card bank (Chase) already. I would suggest everyone else who get scammed do the same thing.
