Yeah sorry about that. I'm going to get one myself later on via their site.

I enjoy colorful decks and this is one of the better designs CPC has KSed lately in my opinion. I really like this deck, it's fun and festive. I find the back design charming and I think it will look good on the table, fanned or in the hand, in motion as well. Absolutely in on this one and interested in seeing the number cards.
TL:DR It's completely up to you.
We can still be friends.
I actually like playing cards.
We live in interesting times.

1 out of 4 decks CPC makes are good. It's like create 3 shitty/half-assed/wack decks, create a good one after those then repeat.
I pledged for this, no complaints.

I'm really surprised by the amount of love these cards are getting here...
I see very little of interest in the courts or suits, and that back design seems little better than a novelty deck...
I guess it's true what Ratman always says... "YMMV"

YMMV indeed.
I can see the appeal of that back for fans but it's a no-go for me.

My first impression of these was, "oh great, another dumb KS campaign." But then I started to think of reasons why I don't like this deck. And sure it's not the most custom or interesting thing out there but I could never come up with a good enough reason to not pledge! So I did, mainly because they are Bicycle-branded (I'm a sucker for that). I did just notice that the back looks like it's full bleed which is a huge pet peeve of mine when it doesn't match the fronts (which these don't). Almost enough to make me cancel my pledge. Almost...

Fair enough... That's your call.
I guess I am just trying to reign in my spending a little, and these days my default position is to NOT pledge unless a deck really sparks my interest. These just seem like a mess to me, especially with the disconnect between the backs and the fronts.

I can't, to be honest. I don't think these will make particularly good fans. But I could be wrong.
Also, I tend to look for reasons to pledge, rather than reasons to NOT pledge

The Black Hole deck makes a good looking fan so these probably would too.

This is another one of those decks that I like enough to promote on social media sites, including Facebook and Twitter.
Here's a peek at today's Twitter promo page that is being loaded in automatically here using the "tweet" option:

The cards still seem too individualistic. A cool fan would be when the cards in a deck seem seamless.

Yup but that's just what I look for in a fan (not like I can really fan anyway).

I agree with:
volantangel wrote: Just because its colourful doesnt mean its good, well at least not to me
This.
Yashi wrote: The cards still seem too individualistic. A cool fan would be when the cards in a deck seem seamless.
And this.
Eoghann wrote: Those aren't even realistic fans.
And also this. Most people who make fan renderings just have no idea of how a fan actually looks like, and they end up making something that is too symmetrical.

Yeah, I just don't see anything standout about this deck, it's not a bad deck but it swims in a pool of some very heady competition.
