Well, you know that WOULD be nice, but I just don't think it's practical - this time. Rest assured, since Lotrek learned his lessons (twice!) doing these, there will be a next time, and when he does something like this again - everyone here will be amongst the first to know.Godzillian wrote:Hey Lotrek, have you thought about releasing a few of these with gilded edges? I'm sure it'd up the prices enormously but I think these would look amazing gilded.
I've got mine - always ready. I just have to be careful living on the coast: it's way too easy to get yourself just a little salt air on the decks and that's just not good. Besides, if you open a deck of cards and leave it lying around in a non-climate controlled room where I live it takes about a week for it to suck enough moisture out of the air to make it bust the tuck open. Just not a good idea, either.dougfrye wrote:Mine came in the mail yesterday. I'm in Virginia, USA and am very annoyed I hadn't yet ordered cotton gloves![]()

No pics of the faro (faros take both hands =p), but here are the other pics !Eoghann wrote:Pics or it didn't happen.
Welcome to the zoo, kookie! You should introduce yourself in the "Site Announcement" new user thread, then pull up a chair and sit a while. We have plenty of discussions about everything about playing cards for cardists, magicians, collectors and anyone else that likes playing cards. With over 1000 very active users from every corner of the globe, we pride ourselves on 'group-think' wisdom to provide guidance for playing card decks projects and hope you will continue to contribute to the forums. Just remember that we're not bashful about expressing our opinions around here.Kookie wrote:Who is this masked man selling their Venexiana...it's me! It's true I haven't posted yet but I am fairly new to the collecting world of playing cards so I mostly lurk and read comments to gain a better understanding of this new world to me. I am also a business man and have found ebay to be a wonderful resource to make money to fund my hobbies. I was able to get two decks, a chance everyone else here was offered. One deck is going into my collection and the other is offered at the listed price to cover both the decks plus fees. I know nobody is directly bashing me for this but capitalism is a wonderful thing. I have sold some amazing limited edition decks to very happy collectors around the world and currently have many decks available in my ebay store. I am an honest, reliable seller who loves collecting playing cards too.
