Yeah, haha. I'm a bit confused, too. I thought we clarified that krooked kings had no intention of using a cash cow.

I don't know, I quite like cash cows, I think it would make a good theme for a deckSher wrote:Yeah, haha. I'm a bit confused, too. I thought we clarified that krooked kings had no intention of using a cash cow.

To be a bit more serious though... if they make tuck swaps and people want to buy them... well why not? Those who don't want to buy them are free to vent here and of course don't have to purchase.

A plastic deck of playing cards should be heavier, I think.

I was curious if that was the case, but I didn't want to assume.

If you're not a cash cow in business, you'll fail. I don't think it's the name of what you call the additional/alternate tucks, it's just that the "completists" can't afford them all which some get upset. If you offer more things and you deliver it in a timely manner then it shouldn't be a problem. The only problem I see is if someone struggling with their KS deck wanting to do more decks (RongoRongo). If you reached funding then why not offer more useful products for everyone.

On that note, I think it is pretty cool that you already ordered some of your add ons to help streamline your process. I imagine having a head start to sign coins and double check that the extras are to your liking is a great help. Should make fulfillment that much easier.Bikefanatic wrote:If you offer more things and you deliver it in a timely manner then it shouldn't be a problem. Pretty much. Doesn't mean I have to like itBikefanatic wrote:If you're not a cash cow in business, you'll fail.

I don't mind there being several alternate tucks. I just won't pledge for them, and I won't complain about them. I just don't like surprise stretch goal decks, I guess. I'm in a tiny minorityBikefanatic wrote:I don't think it's the name of what you call the additional/alternate tucks, it's just that the "completists" can't afford them all which some get upset. That's a good idea. Although I'm sure these guys have already thought ahead.Gruul wrote: On that note, I think it is pretty cool that you already ordered some of your add ons to help streamline your process. I think surprise stretch goals are sill as well but apparently some like them. Have to give the public what they (think) they want.Godzillian wrote:Pretty much. Doesn't mean I have to like itBikefanatic wrote:If you're not a cash cow in business, you'll fail.

Well, I must say thank you to Crooked Kings. I used to be a completist. But now, mostly thanks to them, I learned and I'm not a completist anymore! This is great! Wallet is smiling. So thank you very much.

i am told the standard editions will have a USPCC seal on them. personally i think this is a design killer for what was in my opinion a great tuck box

Re: Get MADE! Mob-Themed USPCC BICYCLE (KS)
What? The standards are my favorite tucks from this series... I'd rather not have a seal at all than put the USPCC seal on it to ruin the design. The standard USPCC seal would look so out of place.
Re: Get MADE! Mob-Themed USPCC BICYCLE (KS)
yes he told me uspcc seal. i totally agree with no seal would be better.Sher wrote:What? The standards are my favorite tucks from this series... I'd rather not have a seal at all than put the USPCC seal on it to ruin the design. The standard USPCC seal would look so out of place.
Re: Get MADE! Mob-Themed USPCC BICYCLE (KS)
Hey guys, I'm not married to the idea, I just figured people would want some sort of seal on them. So you all are saying no on the standard seal? We can do that
Re: Get MADE! Mob-Themed USPCC BICYCLE (KS)

Has a full layout of all decks been displayed yet? I think I remember seeing all the Silver courts but I don't recall seeing all the Golden ones. I understand they're different from the silver?

Yes, they're different from the silver. They recently released art prints for the Gold Edition. I think the courts are displayed in one of the updates.Eoghann wrote:Has a full layout of all decks been displayed yet? Thanks a lot Sher! While both are nice, I think I prefer the golden ones.

Re: Get MADE! Mob-Themed USPCC BICYCLE (KS)
The question are the pips/number cards for gold and silver are different? Like if he used two different red, etc? The number cards/pips for the ULTRA decks are very nice.

Based on the main picture on the KS page, it looks like they are the same. I personally like the pips/numbers on the standard decks better than any of the LE decks.

As dizzying arrays goes, this has been THE dizzying array of dizzying arrays. I pledged early and quit trying to keep up with it. Will pick up anything else I want off Backerkit when I can sit in peace and things don't move around.

Tell me about it. I THINK I went for two gold, two silver and two ULE. I'm not even sure anymore.
