hit me? hit you! play in style with bee things playing cards.

full 52-card deck, with two jokers and one replacement card, wrapped in cellophane in a custom box. great for gifts, party favors, or stocking stuffers.

bee things playing cards are of the highest quality, made by the united states playing card company, who make bicycle cards, hoyle cards, and gaming cards for many u.s. casinos.

I don't want to bee things, I want to bee a person.

Nothing about it really turns me off, but it doesn't excite me.

I'd buy those if I saw them at Five Below or a similar discount store. Not worth ordering online with shipping.

I might've bought this deck in 2015... Props that they are just selling it and not trying to crowdfund it.

Are you concerned about card quality? It mentions they are USPCC-printed :ugthink:

You and me then.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

The term 'stocking stuffer' suggests one level above junk to me - I just think that is a VERY poor choice of words for the promo

I have one at home and can report on the quality later today. However, I am not an expert on card stock by any means.

ETA: Sorry, I'm adjusting to a new schedule and things get away from me even more so than usual. I will set a reminder for this weekend.

Okay, I have my hands on the Bee Things deck. I'm comparing the feel to that of Cardstract, a Bicycle deck printed by USPCC.

Bee Things stock has a linen finish and feels comparable to Cardstract, maybe a tiny bit less slippery. Side by side, each stack having 54 cards, Bee Things is 1 mm taller.

One noticeable flaw is that the one-way back designs are inconsistent in their centering. I'll pick out a couple of cards that show the best and worst and update this post.

Printed by USPCC. Inconsistent in their centering.

Checks out.

There are some minor alignment issues as well, as you might have noticed on the back design. The diamond pips are especially susceptible to this. The Queen of Spades is typical of what you see on some but not all of the courts.

I like the color scheme. Not 100% sure how it relates to bees.

Bees in name only.
