You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

NOCs in the key of F or Fontaines in the key of NOC reads better , no? But hey, at least he has a custom joker! Let's see if he bothers to foil the courts or at least use metallic inks.

Still find it curious that NOCS is the one setting the benchmark for these full foiled minimal back design decks.

Spoiler alert: he actually doesn’t add anything to the courts. Yup, always the same: missed opportunities all over again

Interesting that they're made in the USA. The other recent foil fontaines were all done by Legends. So I guess these are Metalluxe fontaines now?

I'd bet Sapphire and Emerald. Good old Pokémon editions, haha.

It's sad to think that for most of Fontaine fans, majority will only follow cardisty brands and are exposed to only the cardistry decks.

That means for them, Fontaines are the most creative and diverse decks amongst the cardistry decks. :
That would also mean Anyone's decks are considered "minimal"
Virts the Lotreks of cardistry (few decks released, pushing cardistry design, old decks are very pricey to get),
D&D the JR/KWP of cardistry
De'vo the Ellusionist equivalent ( one of the pioneer and innovate stuff in the past, now just a few loyal followers)

Did I get this right? :ugthink:

I get that it's just a fun list and I would agree with the aquivalents represented

BUT

The claim that a brand with only 1 back design (in 6 variations) and two different court sets is an aquivalent or cardistry representation of Lotrék is ridiculous at best.
Even just to try to find an equivalent to Lotrék in the cardistry scene is utterly ridiculous.

If at all - because I like being ridiculous, haha - the closest thing would obviously be touchcardistry. They came up with a new stcock/finish togther with Cartamundi (C9), have their own cardistry notation system and started the no courts design trend.

P.S.: In all seriousness, nothing against the Virts, I love them but lets face it, they're one-hit wonders that feast on their hype of said one hit. Takes nothing away from how great their one hit was imho.
