MADISON CHATEAU ADVOCATES
The only thing that drives me to get this deck is because of the Rococo Art back, as well as... curious on Madison’s independent brand cards quality.
Looks decent, looks OK, just like any classic magic decks. The painting background makes the design a subtle one-way. And as usual, Madison always feature the Raven and letter M. The new deck order out of the box is.... Unique: values are grouped from King to Ace with alternating red and black suits (

). Only the worse part is the cheap box and shrink wrapping. The cards, probably printed by MPC or.... somewhere in London. I won’t mind where it is printed as long the quality is OK, but the thing DM needs to fix is the customer service and shipping.
PS: I got this deck from a friend who managed to have spare decks.
Fun Fact:
The painting used for the Chateau series is “Apotheosis of Hercules” by Francois Lemonye. This is a ceiling painting located in the Hercules Salon of Palace of Versailes.
Stendhal Syndrome is a psychosomatic condition when someone is emotionally attached to an artwork (which ironically, the reason why I wish for this deck ^^;)
