Re: Pixelkingdom (working title)
I think the large pips on the court cards are the perfect size for the number cards.
Courts are coming along nicely!

Move on, nothing to see here.

Thank you so much for your support. Here we go with the Aces. You already saw them foreshadowing on the Number Cards. Here they are in full glory.

Re: Pixelkingdom (working title)
I feel like there is a bit too much negative space on the heart. It's got eyes, or something. I see a squid dead center which is fun, the overall is a strange owl though. Negative space can play tricks on the eye. It's trickin mine unless you hid faces and critters in there. In which case, well done on the faces and critters hidden in there.
TL:DR It's completely up to you.

Re: Pixelkingdom (working title)
I would be down if you offered (additionally) a deck version that was not pixelated. I love the court characters, but have always had zero interest in pixelated art. Seeing the kings together, I wish there was a little more variation on crown styles. Great work!

Haha. To be honest, we did not intend to hide creatures. But let's just pretend we did
As for the Kings, we tried to stick to the classic design. But we are thinking about crowns right now.
Also we try out some background related things like mentioned before.
What do you think about this?

That particular color on this particular king is not the best choice in my opinion. Here it's the same color on the king's clothing. Unless you're going for a negative space blend. (in which case, yea stellar choice) Other folks should comment though (I'm visually challenged) things like this can strike me differently than it will strike others. More eyes the better!

We are aiming for a "one for all" solution, rather than a specific color for each. Maybe an overall impression helps?

Re: Pixelkingdom (working title)
Wow, I just realized that it has been a month to the day since I posted my first post here.
A lot has happened since then and we have actually been able to implement a lot of your feedback.
And now we're actually very close to completion.
But there is one thing that we haven't mentioned all month. And that is the back of the card.
Except for the circle in the middle, it was really nice. Nevertheless, we spent an incredible amount of time trying to find a better solution.
None of this really convinced us. But I think we have it now.
Here are some of the intermediate stages
and last but not least, the final back.
To be honest, this is more of a "show" than a "get feedback".
Don't feel obliged though
With this back, we are now ready for the Kickstarter campaign, which we are already preparing
I would like to thank you all very much for your support and hope that you will support the Kickstarter project yourselves.
There will also be a thread in which we would like to discuss the campaign with you.
Best regards
Marco

You really did! I was getting ready to post about which ones were best and I only realized after picking the 3rd and 4th designs that it’s a progression. Definitely ending on a high note!wingedpotato wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 1:59 pm You definitely picked the best of those four. I like it!

Haha. Glad we picked wisely
Really excited and looking forward to the campaign. Hope you'll also like the tuck.
Here's a design rendering.

Thanks, but keep in mind that it's just a rendering. But that's how we imagine it
