Apparently Zach has pull around there but not Lee McKenzie (Outlaw Playing Cards). Still pisses me off to this day.Decknowledgy wrote: βFri Aug 21, 2020 5:19 amAs if USPCC hasn't allowed it beforeHarvonsgard wrote: βFri Aug 21, 2020 5:03 am What about the kong flipping the bird? So don't talk about business "ethics" with me; I don't believe in that.vasta41 wrote: βFri Aug 21, 2020 6:09 amApparently Zach has pull around there but not Lee McKenzie (Outlaw Playing Cards). I have no idea why they gave Lee the runaround. I'm glad he was able to fix the "problem" pretty nicely but it stinks that it happened in the first place. And then, right around the corner, came that Fontaine deck. Insult to injury.Decknowledgy wrote: βFri Aug 21, 2020 6:16 amSo don't talk about business "ethics" with me; I don't believe in that.vasta41 wrote: βFri Aug 21, 2020 6:09 amApparently Zach has pull around there but not Lee McKenzie (Outlaw Playing Cards). Everything is ok-ed or rejected because of PROFIT.

USPCC may have had no input in the "art" but it is hot garbage. It belongs on the wall of a cafe in Hongdae. That's it.Decknowledgy wrote: βFri Aug 21, 2020 2:40 am As a collector who not only collects decks of high art but also a decks of well-executed quirkiness and abstract art, I like this. The minimalistic yet highly functional back design checks all the boxes for a great fanning experience. The courts? Well, this deck has always been designed by the ITS Design Studio from Korea who specializes in asymmetrical styles and street art antics, so again, conforms with what people are familiar with this studio:

It's one of rare studios with consistent output and one that I would follow indefinitely for its modern take on art.
They are the team who designed this:

And especially for some who may be clueless and thinks that this is RS going to the absurd, this deck is a recolored UPGRADE of an existing deck done by ITS alone: Neon Line. Riffle Shuffle completely has no input on the art, just the production.
