Lotrek hinted at a surprise, so I assume there is something else -a surprise if you will.

After a week's delay (my first appointment with the printer was cancelled), here are the babies, roughly cut by hand :-)

Yeah, I guess that will work. ;)

Edit: Seriously, they are really beautiful. The colors are great and I especially like how the metallic inks catch the light in the photos. Thanks for sharing. I also noticed you made the index even more readable.

Thanks Bradius.
True, it was a last moment's decision and I didn't have time to share it. I think a player's edition should have perfectly and easily readable indexes. The Collector's ed. indexes were a bit too extravagant for playing.

Just the below update from November 26. My guess is Lotrek is busy first getting De Novo finished, then these decks. Hopefully they will ship in early-mid January. I am sure Lotrek is working on probably two other sets in secret and probably a few others in development. Typical Lotrek. We may not see progress, but I am sure it is happening behind the scenes.
November 26, 2018

Hi all,

The assembing of the decks although done by hand seems flawless, all the decks that we checked were in perfect order but the final cutting is going to be a bit slow: the factory I'm using gives priority to their big clients and I had to wait several days to be able to cut the decks without being interrupted too often. Until now I was cutting very low quantities and this could be done within a day or two. Now I have to cut thousands of decks and I need the machine available for at least a week. I have an appointment to start cutting on Thursday. After that, we'll be ready to finally ship the decks!

Unfortunately -as usually- I have overlapping projects running at the same time and trying to complete them all, delays them all!

Anyway, we're almost there and once again, don't worry if I'm not updating too often. It's just the amount of work that I have to do and has priority. For any questions, send me an email to lotrekdesign@hotmail.com

For the end, have a look at a finished blue deck :-)

Lotrek posted an update on Kickstarter on February 3rd saying the decks would be shipping to the U.S. the following week.
Anyone received their decks or heard any other updates?

I haven't heard anything, but I did hear of two other playing card projects whose shipments have been held in customs for inspection.

I am assuming this is U.S. customs, but it could be E.U. as both projects were with European creators.

Received my Silver Arabesque Player's edition today. While I still miss the awesome indices from the collector's version, this deck is so amazing. I may even like the metallic ink a bit more than the foil, but I need to compare the two. Exquisite deck, Lotrek. Can't wait to get the other two.

You're new here, so I'll give you some advice. If Lotrek offers for sale one of his limited decks:

1: Get in early, because they probably won't be around long.
2: There is no Rule #2
3: To understand rule #3, refer to Rule #1
4: No I will not sell or trade, with you or anyone else, any of my Lotrek decks.

The silver Arabesque players edition was actually quite affordable - if memory serves, they went on sale for 25 dollars a deck.

You can find decent deals (Lotrek level decent of course  ). The error deck is being sold at $125 at the marketplace. Search for Dentyne. He's willing to lower the price if you buy more decks.

As for the players editions, I believe you will be able to find them on Lotrek's website once they've been fulfilled. He's also known to give Black Friday/CM discounts as well. So don't give up, start saving now and you should be able to get a Lotrek deck at a decent price :D

Just checked my statement. Yeah $25 or $35 and a few cents for me.

So I'm a little confused here (as I usually am with all of the different versions of Lotrek decks)... I pledged for a RED player's edition via KS. Are people getting those decks yet? If not, when are they expected to be delivered? If so then I'll have to PM Lotrek to find out why I didn't get mine with Silk.

Vasta

What has been received so far are the Silver Arabesque Players. The Red and Blue ones were supposed to start shipping on Monday per Lotrek latest update

We're excited to announce what should had been announced several months earlier. The final "touch" was a delay in the US customs but now everything is in place for the shipping of Arabesque Red and Blue Player's edition decks!

We'll be completing the recipients' lists this weekend and hopefully shipping will begin on Monday.

Yes Lotrek made them available for sale on the last day of the campaign through his website. They were for KS backers only and sold for $25 each

I would need some sort of spreadsheet chart to even come close to understanding how many versions of Lotrek decks there are. Not just Arabesque but all of them. I am slow. [BACON]

Received my Silver Players as well. Like others here, I had to go through past e-mails and the KS campaign and all that to refresh my memory of what I'd purchased, what was still to come, etc. Anyway, these decks are really fantastic. The tucks are a little tight, but still awesome, even so. Pictures don't do it justice. As usual.

Looking forward to getting my reds and blues soon.

Another option for purchasing the Silver players was through the UC store. Again, on the last day of the KS campaign. I have not heard when those will be shipped out. I was hoping they would be sent with the Silk decks. All I’ve received so far is the Blue Silk and I’m completely lost as to when or by whom all the rest of the decks will be sent. It is a bit of a relief for me to see people receiving their decks as it has been a long wait for some.
