Re: Astro by KWP (preorder not a KS)
These will not be available after the live broadcast is through -- tomorrow morning will be the last chance Can you lmk how many hours left? Probably around 6-8 hours from right now, but JR didn't give a specific time, he just said he'd be doing finishing touches "in the morning" and then...

Pics of many many many cards soon -- right now the spot I usually use to take pictures is just full of decks, so there's some reorganizing to do...

From Relativity Playing Cards: Hi all, this is a very important update and equally awful to compose and read. Mutineer: Longest Night was to be $85 per deck. This price was based on the deck's expensive production cost plus the 20% tariffs that existed at the time. Shortly after I put the decks up f...

Re: US reciprocal tariffs
Are the Chinese tarrifs an issue for Bicycle/USPCC or other American playing card makers looking to do business there? I (and I think everyone else) misunderstood :) If USPCC wants to sell their US-made decks in China, yes, they would be subject to an ~84% tariff. I can't imagine it's a huge segmen...

Re: US reciprocal tariffs
Are the Chinese tarrifs an issue for Bicycle/USPCC or other American playing card makers looking to do business there? Pure speculation: USPCC's paper is likely US-made but I'd be very surprised if their factory equipment is made domestically Has China raised tarriffs since last being at around 85%...

If someone made a game that doesn't use a board or pieces, just cards, I could see them thinking their project belongs in "Playing Cards" instead of "Tabletop Games" -- nothing nefarious?

Got the David Jien deck in, it seems legit -- I'll open it up and take some pictures when I have room to do so
On the tuck it says the edition size is x/243 plus 7 artist proofs
(The deck was also packaged extremely well)

MOD NOTE: Let's try to keep this thread about the new tariffs with as little political commentary as possible, all -- usually I'd want to just nuke this entire topic but the potential effects on card collecting as a hobby are unavoidable. This was not the Update we wanted to send . On every level, it is awkward and terrifying for us. But it turns out, no matter how much we've wanted to run from it and keep it secret, it's shadow has slowly grown behind every Update we've sent since early 2023, and in the past few months, it's become...
