Re: Dondorf Hundertjahrkarte restoration, uncut sheets avail

Haven’t followed along with all the peregrinations of this project and definitely haven’t received any emails... Straight up don’t even remember now what I ordered, but I’m still waiting on it. Was UC, not K/S. My receipt tells me I paid $105. What exactly am I waiting on? Is it more than one deck? ...

to any who like me may open a deck: do not touch the numbered seal as the numbering will rub off at the slightest contact with your fingers. Oop!

Re: Cartomancer Poker Deck: Live on KS

This is beautiful. Please, please relaunch it with correct shipping parameters!! ALSO: Maybe a two-deck early bird, hmm? Many collectors are going to want a pair, so that's seductive. Because you've made something that stands out so much from the /usual/ deck, you might also find greater-than-usual ...

Just wanted to bump this thread because this project has reached its funding goal and -- with only a week remaining -- is tantalizingly close to a very nice tuck upgrade stretch goal.

I'm confused too- I pledged for the $115 LTD 2 tier but haven't received my decks yet. I didn't think there were any guilded decks in that tier? Just wanted to confirm here before reaching out to Alex. Those are gilded decks Erp. No, they aren't. Was thinking of the $115 B1 tier I'm on a damn roll ...

Re: Wild West Playing Card Project

The supposed visual symmetry of six letters is IMO over-valued, but even if it were indispensable, I think it's entirely undermined here by the huge T. If visual symmetry between the decks was a serious concern, why would that even be done? When I look at the "As" here, the question answer...

Re: Wild West Playing Card Project

I think actually the plural is much more natural for this concept: Lawmen & Outlaws. Suspect Outlaw was chosen instead just to keep each word at six letters? I really do think there's a problem with the way the Outlaw script reads visually and I'd rework it as Outlaws both for matching sense wit...

Re: Divine Art White Gold Edition (Giveaway contest live on

Stepchild It is sad for me to see that a playing card collector / enthusiast has such a negative opinion of a new development in the market, that basically took up every spare hour of my life for 8 years and totally broke me financially. I really thought all people, whether the first designs are to...

Re: Blaine Mystery Box

TBH the only way either box is remotely worth the $300/$350 asked is if both contain the Blue UV. Barring a difference in that deck, I believe we know the only difference b/w the boxes is that the $350 box is a signed deck box, and that it contains a deck of Red, rather than Green Gatorbacks.

They (meaning sealed, White Lions A Rainbow decks which do not have a dot on the seal) apparently cannot be distinguished as to whether they contain UV blue decks or standard red decks without either 1) opening them or 2) being certain of their provenance. We are more-or-less honor-bound to reveal nothing, or to be circumspect at the least. I received a slight clue in solving the puzzle and have quietly also shared a similar small favor. The deck is moderately interesting and inexpensive enough that I would say definitely open one up. No idea if the c...

Folks "drool" over many decks here. It constitutes evidence of little, unless one is determined to find that *everything* is evidence of one's own predetermined conclusions. That said, it's likely some of the specific comments regarding this deck have gone beyond the pale in their implicit...

These are here and I love 'em. The courts are just hilarious and I really like both the standard foily tucks and the blingy cut-out ones. A big success imo. Eager to see the coins when they come. Was there talk earlier of some geegaw extra for UC members??

This back is so much fun! Love the way the white toothed arches surrounding the interior spades seem to create a spiral drawing the gaze to the center. Outstanding work. I'd want a poster-size add on.
