Re: Tally-Ho Cardistry Con 2018
I just bought some from Magic Square, a Hong Kong based magic shop. Unfortunately you cannot buy them in their webshop but you can send a message on Instagram and they invoice you via paypal. https://www.instagram.com/magic_square_hk/ It‘s 6.50USD and shipping to Germany was 10.50USD for 4 decks. while yes, those decks were created using paper cutting and some layering (quite skillfully and well done), he didn't created those images to have a 3D or textured feel accentuated by the lights and shadows that fall on the layers as they literally are constructed off the page as seen in the exampl...

It's not like she has been completely off the radar. The new deck has been teased on Instagram since April. IMO if you are able to work on a new project and tease it on social media platforms, you should be able to give an update on your pending projects. Even if it's reporting a delay. (E.g, I'm st...

Re: Papercuts by Art of Play
For this deck (and only from what I can see, which isn't much), it'll be hard to appreciate the immense amount of painstakingly time and work put into making these intricate paper cut motifs if it only appears to be a detailed fine line drawing... it's definitely a new idea, but I'll be interested ...

Yes, I have had them for a couple weeks now. I also have the Wolfram deck in hand, but KS doesn't care, as long as they get their cut. It is becoming more and more like a store. :? You can use the kickup tag/shortcode in the post editor. It adds a nice kickstarter info element and a kicktraq info as well. You just have to put the URL of the project between the kickstarter tags. The kickstarter URL should read like „https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/[projectowner]/[projectna...

Re: Juggler MARBLE Ed. Playing Cards live on KS
There is no easy answer but I guess it helps to build a reputation amongst the cardistry community, have a continous Social Media output (this guy has more than 6k followers on Instagram) by teasing your work and then sell it for a good price.

These are no knockoff decks. Just merchants getting decks for wholesale prices. The prices for The Aurelian deck is actually more than Ellusionist was selling them. I believe the red Arcane deck was part of the 2016 Ellusionist sale, so probably a lot of people including international dealers bought...

Not a new deck, but just purchased a couple of these and couldn‘t find any info here on UC.
They are designed by a cardist called Michael James and seemed to be part of a cardistry project that was never released (?). They were made by Legends PPC.

Oooookay. I have no idea what a "git" is? I thought it was short for "git 'er done" ! It's a version control system used for software development projects. The cards feature all kinds of commands used in git. I work with it every day :) The deck is kind of simple but for someone...

Re: RADIA, The Spiritual Successor to AURUM by Encarded
It does not matter. You can apply this foil on any area - 100% or 1%. It can be any shape. Printing is optional. But instead of printing you can apply different foils one by one using a flexo machine. This setup is more complicated. Most modern presses can only use one base foil and then tint it (o...

Re: RADIA, The Spiritual Successor to AURUM by Encarded
The name of this process - cold foil. When you see foil on cards it's cold foil. Why? You cannot use hot foil on presure sensitive materials. Also it is hard (almost impossible) to apply more than 3 foil colors due to registration and quality problems. I think it's not the first EPCC's deck with co...

I guess the feature is printing on foil and having a fully foiled back compared to partially applied foil on the backs. I think they didn't mention that on Kardify.guru wrote:Saw the post on Kardify but could not understand the unique or secret feature factor. Am I missing something?
