I agree, the parrots are beautiful but this deck is more like a portfolio of art than playing cards.

Pretty interesting how the old Triplicates have slightly rounded edges compared to the perfectly straight cut of the restored design.

If we unlock the Obsidian decks, can we just add-on one set of unbranded decks to the Elite Eight to get a brick? Or should I be pledging for a brick first?

If it helps your decision any, I rarely see Scarlet or Sapphire decks come up on eBay (I didn't get any originally, so I'm having to buy them now to fill in my collection) and when the do, they commonly sell (not list, but actually sell for) $30-$40 a deck,a nd that's on the rare occasion that they...

Like BiggerDee, I'm also curious as to why the red deck is called Scarlet rather than Ruby for a complete theme? I'm sure this question has been asked many times before.

Now I just have to decide between branded and unbranded... That rare set is tempting because I don't have the original Ornates, but I don't think my wallet can take that much abuse at this point.
