UC Software has been upgraded!

Hi all,

As some of you may have noticed, we've been having some odd behavior with the site, and we've determined that these issues can be resolved with an upgrade to some of our underlying software.

We'll be performing the upgrade this weekend. When it happens, the site will be down for about five minutes (assuming all goes to plan!), so if the forum is unavailable when you log on over the weekend, try back in a bit and we should be back up to full strength.

I'll post more when I have more status to report. Thanks for your patience while we've been tracking down the issues!

The Cunning Plans That Cannot Possibly Fail Department has informed me that they were able to prepare a script that shortened the down time from roughly five minutes to roughly twenty seconds. And then they executed the Cunning Plan. And it appears to have worked.

Yes, good work team - the problem used to be most prevalent when you posted with an emoji or an attachment - all seems good now
