“An adaptation of an old historical series of playing card illustrations by legendary Swiss printmaker, Jost Amman (1539-1591) oftentimes referred to as Charta Lusoria. Lynyrd-Jym Narciso has given the illustrations more painterly strokes, as well as added muted tones, and have them rendered in an appealing "Old World" style. The suits are Ink Balls (Dabbers), Wine Crockery, Goblets, and Books. These can be used as a sort of conversation piece in one's playing card collections, as actual playing cards to play with (perhaps using playing card games from those times). The images can also be interpreted intuitively, making the deck a cartomantic oracle in its own right.”
Talked to the seller, they did a kickstarter for the Trzes’ Mamluk deck a while back, now sold out, but they are about to run a second campaign
