About NOC
In 2012, Alex launched House of Playing Cards. HOPC is a place where he will released his fresh new line of playing cards among with other decks done by other brands and creators. This brand is called "NOC" - it stands for "Nothing Only Color". It is basically a standard deck of playing cards with card back that is ONLY just one solid block of color, that's it! This is one brand line that offers custom very minimalistic deck of cards in a very low and affordable price. The decks in NOC brand line feature a hidden marking for suits (and in some editions, a hidden full marking for both suits and values). As the brand gets popular within the card community, Alex started to mix in themes with the NOCs, like applying Sci-Fi (NOC3000X), superheroes (SUPER NOCs), Fort Knox - US Gold Reserve (Fort NOCs), and many more. All of the NOC decks are printed with USPCC (older editions were printed by EPCC).

NOCs - Honorable Mentions

Unread post by laitostarr777 »

HONORABLE MENTIONS
These decks might not be NOC Playing Cards, but they were produced by the same production house that produced them - House of Playing Cards [HOPC]. I would included them here in case you wanted to know what other decks HOPC produced (as well if you are interested in getting).

PURE Playing Cards
PURE Playing Cards is a 6-decks series done in collaboration of HOPC with TCC Magic, magic company based in China. The card back is a solid color with a thick border of respective color of each edition - they are MARKED. The Jokers feature identical word of "PURE" on the center: one is black, one is on its respective color (except for Black, which is grey). The Ace of Spades featured a slighly bigger Spade pip done in a stylized graphic. The rest of the cards are standard. Cards are printed with TWPCC(?).
  • PURE Red
  • PURE Yellow
  • PURE Blue
  • PURE Green
  • PURE Purple
  • PURE Black

Hard NOCs
Hard NOCs are NOC's very own Trainers. The trainers are made using NOC Playing Cards. These are made by encasing the card in resin. The idea is, the 5 thick resin trainer boards imitates the 5 packets made using a deck of cards. People ussually used Trainers for cardistry practice, so they can implement what they learn using an actual deck of cards.
  • Hard NOCs Red
  • Hard NOCs Yellow
  • Hard NOCs Blue

LZY Deck
One day, Alex got the idea of creating a deck cards that only have two solid colors - one on each side, that comes with a very standard box with viewing windows. The idea is, Alex wasn't pay attention on the faces of the deck while he was practicing magic during the pandemic, nor he cares about the look of the cards when performing. So, his BEST and WORST idea is to produce a deck of cards that is really simple yet affordable and up to modern standards - and that's how this deck is made. Printed by Cartamundi on B9 Slimline finish. Getting 1 deck or 5 decks will give you random colors, but if you get 10 decks, you are guaranteeded to get every color variants available. You may use LZY decks to practice your card flourishes (which you can create a colorful visual presentation) and magic tricks (how to control cards among other magic moves).
