I like 🐸s. I like gambling. I don't like the courts.
I still like the rest enough.

Haven’t seen more than a peek of the courts on Patreon, but from what I have seen I agree - wish they were froggier

Not even froggier but just not that close to standard.

I like S17 but this doesn't do if for me.. I liked the front and all but soon as I saw the back with the giant dragonflies I was way less interested

A little disconnect from the theme imo. Like okay, frogs eat dragonflies but kind of a strech for the theme. I still like it a lot from a design perspective.

This will be the first S17 deck I will not be getting. Don't like the theme, so I don't care about the execution. Easy pass for me but I can see how it will appeal to some. Just not my taste.
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.

Turned out nice. Still not a fan of those courts but their colour scheme, the back and the jokers are far better than 52+J for my taste.

This for me will be a real indicator of just how popular is the S17 brand now.

2k+ decks at 9.90 per deck with a new green frog theme, but a dragonfly back. (I know Gavin and other fans of green decks will be getting this for sure.) No KS or other collab exposure other than social media.

How fast this sells out, will be how much faster Black Requiem sells out.

Keep in mind though that if the decks sell out fast, that is likely to lead Lorenzo to print more of the deck. This is one he is prepared to reprint to fulfill demand. So, don't buy these thinking your are getting some limited release that if you miss, you will have to get on ebay for insane prices. That is not likely to happen. I just say that so folks don't get the wrong idea Lorenzo has been clear that this is not an exclusive one tie sale...unless sales go bad and he has to start selling them in the neighborhood flea market.

I am fairly certain the deck will sell well. They will leap off the shelves. Glad I have my three gilded frogs. :D

yes, this is a great price. yes, this is lorenzo. yes, he is in the top 2 for my favorite designer but this deck doesn't really do it for me and will likely be a pass. i can see all the reasons it will be a favorite and top seller for others though.

I believe he explained they were printed by WJPCC, or at least referenced that he was printing from the printer of decks that were printed by WJPCC.

In any event, I was able to get on and snag a brick. There were still quite a few brick sets still available. Shipping for the brick was $12 in the US, so $111 in total.

Gotta say USPCC isn't the creme of the crop all the time. Black No.17 for example felt crappy and looked dull (which can be a matter of print data though so not exclusively a fault of the printer) imho. WJPCC definitely delivers alright to good decks in the current era.
Of course I would wish these were USPCC printed on the best batch premium stock, too but we all now that is not going to happen for that retail price, unless T11 buys the design and reprints them in their quantity.

I actually used this opportunity (of cheap pricing) to buy 2 decks- one for the collection and one to put through the ringer. I want to see for myself just how these handle with some novice-intermediate XCM.
