Nothing about the cards tells me anything about "fearless." They're more caricatures, but then I also wonder what cupid has to do with it.

I do like the stylization of the courts.

I think fearless was meant to imply the artist was fearless in drawing them that way - and I think its too on the nose - they are picasso like and I would go with a term of homage to the style

and I think the pip cards should be given some treatment of the style as well

actually "on the nose" kind of speaks to what sticks out to me on the face cards.

We were going for something silly as can be seen on the facial expression of the courts as being fearless. Something to give the audience a chuckle and not too serious. And the mad Cupid has transform them into fearless courts with his arrow. Interesting, cool, lame?

That’s a very interesting insight, Picasso was looked into at the very beginning.. Maybe we will revisit this and explore this theme further.

Haha 😆 but how could we make a title for the cards that sounds cool relating to the nose? We can’t call it “On the nose playing cards” can we..?

Totally agree, I dislike ugly cupids as well. Cupids should be cute and not be ugly. If that is the case then they should be called ugpids. Now that would make sense.

Thanks and good luck to you as well.
