Bicycle Prestige (redesigned) -- Coming this April

The Bicycle Prestige 2 Pack Playing Cards have a new back design.
The design is more traditional and sophisticated, just like you would see on Kem decks and traditional casino cards. This wasn't done by accident. The prestige decks will be used for all WSOP circuit events instead of Kem. Kem will be used during the main event, either for the entire event or just during the last few tables.

The Prestige decks are made from plastic, which makes them 100% waterproof and can be washed for easy cleaning. They feature patented Dura-Flex technology, which makes the cards crease resistant, just like their Kem counterparts. The cards will be available in both wide and narrow sizes, along with having either standard or jumbo indexes. Release date is tentatively sent for April 1, 2013.

A few months back there was a rumor of USPCC killing off the KEM line. Mike was kind enough to ask USPCC and the response never did answer the question. So now we see this KEM-like change to Prestige. This again raises the question(s):
1) Is Bicycle/USPCC/Jarden killing off (absorbing) the KEM manufacturing line like it did so many others?
2) Is KEM still being manufactured or are sales using stockpiled decks?
3) Has Bicycle fixed the major problem of ink flaking off of the Duraflex (Prestige) line?
4) Since the KEM line took a major nose-dive (feel and responsiveness wise) when USPCC bought it, does anybody care?
5) Is Fournier still somewhat safe from production line meddling, or is it next on the chopping block?
6) Will USPCC bother to give straight answers to the above?

I thought I responded. They are not killing off the Kem line and have no plans to do so at this point.

Of all the brands it has acquired USPC, Fournier is the one with more independence, I do not think in the short - medium term changes anything.
