Re: 52 Plus Joker Gold Edition by Jackson Robinson
I'll be getting a couple of these. I have a couple of the limited silver ones and I dare not open them. Once I get the gold ones, I can finally see Jackson's artwork up close.

I'll get these as well. I did open one of the silver decks but still have one sealed.

Re: 52 Plus Joker Gold Edition by Jackson Robinson
I have to wonder if the only reason this garners interest is because Jackson is behind it. The back design is just a bunch of 52's cast about like a Voodoo Priestess' reading bones and IMO isn't all that interesting from an aesthetic point of view. I'll be passing on these.

Re: 52 Plus Joker Gold Edition by Jackson Robinson
I opened deck # 50 because I wanted to see if the cut & finish live up to the hype.
Extremely pleased with the overall quality and usability of these! Now, if you have the LE, I really don't see any reason to get this variant, but YMMV!

Re: 52 Plus Joker Gold Edition by Jackson Robinson
Looks ok. To me maybe it's the KW courts used on Tally Ho with just a different back that's not making me miss nothing.

Re: 52 Plus Joker Gold Edition by Jackson Robinson
My thoughts exactly as well. Completely uninteresting back design and EPCC's borderline unuseable side tuck makes this an easy pass. Plus, I'm done overpaying for anything Jackson-related. Remember back in the day when EPCC was touted as the economic alternative to the USPCC? These presumably unlimited decks retail at $19.95? Now being sold at a "discounted" $14.95? Ridiculous.chach wrote:I have to wonder if the only reason this garners interest is because Jackson is behind it. Re: 52 Plus Joker Gold Edition by Jackson Robinson
I like the 52's and I'm interested in checking out the synthetic paper used for the side tuck. So it's an easy decision for me to pick some of these up. Out of mild curiosity, does anyone know how many were printed?
TL:DR It's completely up to you.

Tried to find this myself, no luck yet. So could be a fair few I'm guessing.Fes wrote:I like the 52's and I'm interested in checking out the synthetic paper used for the side tuck. Re: 52 Plus Joker Gold Edition by Jackson Robinson
I try to buy 2000 decks, a pop up window told me that they currently have 1616 unit(s) in stock.
So, I guess about 2000.

Re: 52 Plus Joker Gold Edition by Jackson Robinson
Yup the back design never appealed to me as well, the only thing that had me interested was the slipcase box, but its not included with the gold. Plus the courts are those on the tallyhos KW standard, so you are better off with a uspcc deck at a cheaper price if you get the tallyhos.chach wrote:I have to wonder if the only reason this garners interest is because Jackson is behind it.
