i like the art Nouveau back even if it is one way.
No need to show more Courts as they are just a re-colour of the standard Paris Pattern
The Cut off pip and hard diagonal line are both traditional features of the Paris pattern

Re: Transformation vs semi-transformation decks
I wouldn't call the decks from Peter Woods true transformation decks though because often the style and placement of the pips are changed. Thanks EcNate. 8-) it`s been a while since i dug out my peter woods decks but after having another look they are indeed mostly semi-transformations..although &q...

Re: Transformation vs semi-transformation decks
Peter Woods has done a few good decks like 2000 Pips, Goblins, Hidden Mickeys, The Teddy deck etc.
Since 2008 Elaine Lewis has only done transformation decks
A favorite Transformation deck of mine has to be Nursery Rhymes by Karl Gerich for the 10th anniversary of the E.P.C.S that was done in 1994

Re: Great deals on ebay!
If anyone knows more about how much these usually go for, please let me and everyone reading this thread know! Roope has asked me to show my decks and answer the above question. The value of a deck is how much someone is willing to pay for it... that being said the Indiennes Deck i`ve seen listed a...

you can see from the 60's deck on ebay that was printed in Sweden that the design was like that even then Was looking through the Fournier Museum Catalogue and they have a deck listed as 1952 and the design is cropped similar to the piatnik deck, must have been the only the very early printings wit...

Cool Rapylatassu :D F. Tilgmann & Co was sold after WWII to Turun Kivipaino O.Y (or Abo Stantryckeri A.B.) They seem to have produced quite a few custom deck through the years (and a lot of them convex shaped) "Korupeli Kortteja", "Valtti" and "Palett" to name a few...

Re: Turku's Castle Playing Cards (Finland)
I have a bit of information on the original decks if anyone here bids for the deck on e-bay. The deck was printed by F. Tilgmann & Co of Helsingfors-Helsinki for the Turku lithografic press. They started printing the deck around 1939. All Swedish cards have the tax stamp on the Ace of diamonds (...

Nice ....I`ll be in on these
Not a fan of the roman numerals on the sides.
Any reason you are not doing these in Watercolours like your previous decks ?
Are these going to be printed by Carta Mundi ?...they did a pretty good job on your viceroys.

These cards were designed by Mila Losenko . Jokercards are the producers.
Nage Cards are a bit hit and miss with their quality , some are ok, but some like this slavic deck are very poor.

Jokers were invented to be used for the game "Euchre" as an extra trump card.
Jokers are also used in the game "Canasta" as a wild card along with the deuce`s.
