AI have been trying to perfect Turing tests all these years, and now we have a problem of determining which is human's work anymore. AI won, I guess? Lol.
If I like what I'm seeing, I'll buy. No drama.

Re: Ankh Playing Cards by ARK Playing Cards
I only ever did backed Ark for Devildom and Halidom, and I might do it again for this one. The artist boxset looks awesome. Though why the second deck from it became the champagne deck instead of greyscale holo? Yeah on second thought, $75 was good before for 2 shiny decks and a box. Now it's for 1 ...

They provide some sketches of their art afaik.
And you can personally ask them about that question.

Re: Innocence Gold Foil Edition by Black Roses
Printing each deck needs a different setup for each design in a production line. Printing the legacy deck as it is, with a dedicated plate/setup will likely cost like a regular deck to produce, one would think.

Damn, I made a reddit post a while back asking if anyone ever did a deck full of different AoSs. This Legacy deck is as close as it gets. Unfortunately, they're not the designs that I'm looking for.

For those who were as confused as me at G's post (non American) It was a Saturday Night Live skit That is a box of cereal she is holding not a book Because Quarry isn't grown, it's mined. It's the only cereal that's pure 100% rocks and pebbles. I thought it's a box of quarry, for eating rocks.

Do we really need to rehash the economics of selling these small runs of limited edition cards every time I guess we'll leave it with the infamous "can't make everyone happy"

(Goldsmith for me has broken even only recently and Beetle Backs' profitability is still in question). Sorry to hijack the discussion, but I'm really glad you've broken even with Goldsmith, despite currently only selling less than 300 out of 1000 sets. I guess that's the advantage of keeping it sim...

Re: Eye of the Ocean | Part 2 - Stockholm17
Everything about Eye of the Ocean, all of it really sink me deep into it - my brain now keeps on thinking what’s gotta happened next after the end of Volume 1. Call me obsessive - but hey, it is Stockholm17 for you~ You should try reading real novels if you haven't yet, they also cost way less than...

Re: Aphrodite by Villainous Industries - Patreon exclusive
At first I thought the villain character will be dropped after some guys out-villained you in a trademark claim. I thought that must've been a humbling experience. But now that it's been raised again, might as well give my two cent(ense)s. If you're dreaming of making it into the big men's league of...

Re: Aphrodite by Villainous Industries - Patreon exclusive
On your long post you said you never denied using AI stuff, you didn't disclosed it either even if someone already asked, until now. My impression after reading that conversation a while back is that you're not against usage of AI but that's not your thing. You can say that's just my assumption, but...

Villain, I remember someone asked you about AI usage before, as it turns out it was montenzi. TBF to his reactions, you never clarified anything and somewhat dodged the question. Thank you. I've been a graphic designer for a while and an artist for even longer. Gotta be strong in your convictions to...

Tbf he's only ever claimed that he's against 100% ai generated art vs. ai assissted art. The borderline is thin though.

With how he reacted on another deck that used AI, this will be a bombshell if proven true. For the record, this is his position on AI art: Checking out their 'new artist' his work looks nothing like what any of this deck is. They have NO F***ING CLUE ABOUT ART. Otherwise this wouldnt be called Abstr...

I understand everything, of course, but one thing is unclear to me: why claim that you drew it yourself. Both projects - the previous one (KS) and this one - are 100% AI . Just say it; people will understand. They like it, so what's the problem? This statement is gonna make him go fuming. But don't...

I think the commenter connected TGW (who is using A.I. generated contents for youtube) to the project and took a leap of faith. TGW was talking about a customer who asked for refunds based on the sentiment above.

Out of curiosity, why's S17 not fond of front foiling, but seems to always do it on the backs? Dunno about not fond rising spade, requiem, and the most recent odd fellow madam levau all have foil on the faces. Not EOTO 2  Doesn't matter anyway, basic pledges doesn't ship to my country.

But what about you saying it's better than WJPC instead of just praising the printer itself?
Is it the printer KWP uses? This deck has similarities to Legal Tender decks.
