Re: [just_eirik] My decks
You managed some very nice fans for those last two pictures as well. I have tried and it is not that easy to get all the cards that perfect after setting the cards down. Would you say you're a fan of his fans? Someone should write a story about his love of those fans. It would be fan fan's fan fic.

Re: LUMINOSITY: The Kingdom of Light by Black Ink Branded / Jody Eklund
Wasn't he meaning foil and gilding (as opposed to either / or)?
I do recall being a little disappointed that Luminosity wasn't as shiny as so many other decks -- even other Black Ink decks. Glad he's revisiting this one, although I'm not sure yet if I'll be revisiting it, as well. Hmmm.

PS: I did, I must confess, laugh at the one-word shot that Gandalf fired off, and I also understand CC's *and* Gandalf's frustration. Not taking sides here. But, if you'd like, we do have a topic around here somewhere called "Thunderdome," and you can take your clever insults there, if you...

Hi, guys. I'm going to put on my admin hat for just a second here. I'm speaking to all y'all, including specifically CCwonder and GandalfPC: kindly avoid personal attacks and name calling / labeling. Let me further say that when GandalfPC expresses the opinion that it's tacky to speculate on someone...

I'm a "class correspondent" for my college graduating class, which means I'm one of the people who write a column every so often saying here's what so-and-so in our class is doing these days. There are a few rules that class correspondents are required to follow: * Do not announce engageme...

I know this has been discussed before and you are resistant to doing it, but I do think you can lower the minimum needed to successfully fund not only by going with a less expensive but still excellent manufacturer like WJPC or Legends, but also you could consider just going with the limited edition...

It's possible there wasn't very much discussion here because Alex didn't even drop by here to mention that voting was open. I'm sure someone else probably did, but I know *I* missed any opportunity to nominate or vote, so there wasn't really much to discuss. For me. YMMV. I agree with your analogy a...

Several of us are reaching out to Alex in good faith, and hopefully we will find him before too long. Crickets, I'm assuming, hu? Unfortunately, yes. Crickets. I'll still throw out a ping here and there, but I really have no way to predict or anticipate what happens next. As others have noted, Alex...

Re: Morpheus - The King of Dreams by Charmie Dreams The Cat
CDtC is so freakin' unique and so amazingly good. I rarely go in for boxes and presentation, but holy cats, the Eye of the Kukulkan -- I got the full box treatment on this one, and was stunned at how much better it was in reality than the hype that promoed it. The cards *are* playable, although they...

Most Backerkit projects let you change your initial tier if you're not trying for an EB or the like, and I'm thinking I'm going to want to switch from the EB for 1 each to the 2 each tier. I can't recall if I added the Claw and the mini to my KS pledge, but I'm working under the assumption those opt...

These have done well in the past, and he's been a reliable producer. I'm just a wee bit surprised this hasn't gotten more traction. (Haven't looked at the pricing, though, so not sure if that's a factor.)

Re: Draconian Crimson by Randy Butterfield
This deck is totally screaming for foil. The Draconian coins were simply off the hook with the design and the 3D effect. I suspect if the tuck were embossed and foiled (gold and crimson?), and the cards were also foiled (either gold and crimson *or* cold foil on the gold and crimson, both on front a...

Mad props to you, VI, for having the class to wait until you've totally shipped out the one project before starting the next. So many other producers don't, and that can be very frustrating.

I just got these decks yesterday, and I don't know if I am crazy or not, but these feels so good in the hands. Shuffling with these is a dream. I'm not great in my knowledge of card stock, but whatever this is, I want more decks like it. That's been my experience with this deck, as well. These are ...
